Another new job / Secret organization 2

Shayla pov ~

As I lay on this comfy queen sized bed. Taking a look around the room, I must say it wasn't at all what I'd expected....

It was ten times better than the motel I stayed in. The outside of the building looked clean enough. I just hoped I made the right decision by coming here.

I mean I did kind of feel creeped out when Kiet escorted me to what would be the room I'm in right now. I felt all eyes on me as we walked through the corridor passing other workers. At least that who I thought they were. It was so weird I tried to say hello  to one of them. But that person just smiled, walked away. And I looked to Kiet for any sign of what just happened. But he just hooked his arm in mine, guided me the rest of the way.

At that time, I just kept quiet but I am wondering if I shouldn't have done that. Another thing that was concerning is that Kiet told me to stay inside the room until he came to get me for dinner. He made me promise then practically ran out the room.

Sighing, rolling over in bed. I wondered if I should call someone to let them know I was okay. I couldn't call my family so I opted to call Carrie. And went  searching through my bag, it seemed I couldn't find my phone.

Jun pov ~

As I watched Soo floating in this contraption. I wished he'd wake up soon so we could go back to being partners, go on missions like we used to.

Not only that he was a friend and he was like a brother. And I didn't want anything to happen to him.

" Soo please wake up because your sister's a handful. She's too distracting, " I sighed touching the glass wall that separated us.

Later, when I went to the rec room to bush up on my skills with some target practice. I felt a tap on my shoulder. And whoever didn't know better, better be glad we were only in this room. Because if it were anywhere else. They would be seriously hurt.

Turning around it was Hana in a defense stance also ready if anything went down.

" Now Noona why did you sneak up on me like that, " I said placing my weapon back in my sheath.

" I did call out to you but you obviously didn't hear me. What were you thinking so hard on because I think that would be the reason you'd be so focused like that. "

" Sorry about that. Did you need something ? " I asked grabbing a towel from a nearby rack wiping the perspiration from my brow.

" Yes father wants to see us. He has something he wants to inform us on. "

" Okay I'll be there. Just let me get cleaned up first. Where does he want us to meet again ? "

" In his office, don't take too long," she said slapped me in the rear, smirked walking away leaving me stunned by what just happened.

Then I made my way to the showers, thought to myself thinking of what I said earlier to Soo. " I told you man that your sister was something else. "

We all sat in suspense at the table in Soo's father's office. While we waited for him to arrive.

For someone to tell us don't be late. He's doing the exact opposite of what he instilled for us to do. But I knew I had be patient.

But how could I when so many things have happened so far. Soo being foolish as his brother calls it. And just not two weeks ago, teams that have been sent to that lake to handle a very serious situation. Had thought to had have everything under control. They all but disappeared, having elders saying something else has disappeared too from whispered rumors.

But I didn't hear the full conversation but only what Soo's father was told as he rushed off to help. I offered my help but he turned me down. And I wondered if this is what he's going to finally tell us.

But I highly doubt it because of the way he actually turned me down. It wasn't a " No son sit this one out. "

It was more like " No ! Don't try to get involved in something you shouldn't. "

Which made me want to know all the more. Like what was really going on ?

After waiting another thirty minutes, he finally showed up and greeted us all then got down to business.

After briefing us on other subjects. And how it is for safety measures to not go outside of doing what you were ordered. Especially now since what happened to Jisoo. Explaining he couldn't have more of his family going down like this.

I had to think for a second. He actually regarded me as family. I knew, felt this of them. And really thought it was one sided. It made me feel good inside. Because I really couldn't remember my life on earth. It's weird we collectors don't dream but after touching Shayla, I began to have flashes or visions of something. Was it my life or something else ?

Then my thoughts came to a halt. Then I spoke on something that's been on my mind for awhile.

" Sir ? I was wondering what's going on with the human called Shayla, " I asked because of how concerned I was about her. And wanted to relay it back to Soo, if he could hear me in the state he was in.

" Oh yes. He's with the Daydream setters. I hear she's doing fine. Which reminds me I need you and Hyun, Hana to go to Earth, check on her. And when the three of you come back I need to speak about a top secret mission. Just letting you guys know there will be a set of test you all have to go through before you'll be briefed on it, " he explained patting me on my back when he got up walking pass me as he left the room.

And now I had a new set of questions I needed answered. And by the look on his face, I knew it wasn't an easy run of the mill type mission. This might be the mission of all missions.
