I sit down in one of the green bean bag chairs with my notebook. While they rehearse, I am going to look for projects. I pull out my laptop and start searching on it. They set up and mess around, thankfully not bothering to give me a second glance.

I literally fall out of the bean bag chair when they start playing. They're so loud. I hear Michael laugh, and it must be at me. Because I probably looked like a total idiot.

I climb back into the chair and huff, flustered. I ignore them for the intro, but I look up when someone starts singing. Their voice is so...

My eyes widen when I see who it belongs to. Luke. My jaw practically drops open. I watch and gap as he sings the first few lines.

"She's droppin' out of school, 'cause she don't need the grades, the colors in her hair, don't seem to fade, I get dressed up when I go out, but she gets dressed down," He sings. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm impressed. He is.. Great..

Calum starts singing the next lines, and I'm impressed by him too. Luke catches me looking at him during the chorus. He smirks and winks, causing me to shoot a glare.

I listen, and eventually, end up watching. They're all really good. The bridge rolls around and once again, Luke's voice sounds.. Okay, his voice is amazing. He keeps an eye on me and smirks a hell of a lot, making me want to throw my laptop at him. Just because he has a great voice, doesn't mean he has the right to flaunt.

"You're so out of reach.. And I'm finding it hard, 'cause you make me feel, you make me feel," Luke sings. Geez. His voice is so deep.. And ho-

Don't you dare, Olivia Parker. He is terrible and arrogant and rude and mean and you have no right to say he sounds hot. No right at all.

Luke catches me and winks, making me roll my eyes. See, you don't like him. And you don't think he's hot. Him or his stupid voice.

I snap myself out of it finally, and go back to watching them all. Once they finish, they all look at me eagerly. I blink.

"What?" I ask.

"Well?"

"What do you think?"

"Did we sound good?"

"Do you like the song?"

"Is there anything we could do to make our performing better?"

"Yeah, like any-"

"Guys," I giggle softly, cutting them off. They shut up and look at me.

"You did great. All of you are amazing and talented." I smile. They exchange high-fives, smiles wide like school girls.

"What was your favorite part?" Calum asks me, his eyes big like a little puppy. I blink. "Uh, I don't know.."

"It was me. Every part that had me in it was her favorite." Luke grins. I give him a look.

"Actually, I really liked all of it. The sound of the guitar, the drums were great, the bass was amazing. Vocals were great." I say. I don't give Luke any individual credit, though. To piss him off a little.

The rest of the band is smiling graciously. Luke doesn't say a word, looking a little pissed. Serves him right.

They practice a few other songs, called Heartbreak Girl and Out of My Limit, which are great too. And, as much as I don't want to, I have to give Luke credit. He's really good at what he does.

Finally, they decide to go to writing. Which gives me a chance to talk to Luke about the project.

"So, Luke, I've been thinking, and, for the project, I found this really cool thing on if you can find mathematical patterns in Bach's compositions, so I thought-"

"Bach?" He asks, an eyebrow raised. I look up from my computer. "Yeah, Johann Sebastian Bach, the composer from the 1700's. Anyway, all you need is-"

"Can we talk about this another time, Olivia? We're writing," he says, cutting me off. I am real surprised, though I know I shouldn't be. I do want to slap him, though.

"Luke. The reason I'm here is to work on this. Not to be your little groupie. And you told me to come over at four. So don't try blaming it on me." I snap. He frowns.

"I'm not saying we can't work on it. I'm saying not right now." He says. I'm speechless.

" 'Kay." I say, looking down at my laptop. I begin biting the side of the inside of my cheek. It's a habit of mine that I do when I'm pissed. Luke sighs.

"Livi.." He says. I don't respond, scrolling through articles on science projects. He mumbles a 'whatever' and goes over to the boys, who are busily throwing out song lyrics.

My eyes start to hurt, and I realize I haven't put on my glasses. I'm supposed to for reading. I pull them out of my bag and put them on. I scan through science articles.

"Aww, Livia has glasses!" I hear Ashton exclaim. I giggle softly and look up. They're all looking at me now. The boys lovingly tease me about being 'visually impaired'. At least, all except Luke, who just glares at me.

"They're just for reaaadingg," I whine. They chuckle. Calum tells me not to make excuses and Michael calls me a nerd. I groan jokingly.

"Okay, yes, Olivia has glasses, can we get to writing please?" Luke asks, his voice raised. He's visually fuming. I bite my lip to hide a grin and look down.

They go back to writing. I keep working on the project. Until something catches my attention.

"... Asked for your number, said you don't have a phone..." Luke throws out.

My blood goes cold and I stop moving in horror. The only thing I can place is the thought:

Déjà vu.
