My phone rings.

I roll over slowly, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. What time is it... Who the hell...

Fucking Luke.

I answer it.

"Lucas Robert Hemmings, it is one in the morning, what could you possibly want?" I ask sleepily, making sure to keep my voice down.

"Well, that's not exactly what I was expecting. I was expecting a, 'hey, baby, hello, how are you, what's up', but I'm not good enough for that, apparently." He says jokingly. I can picture a lazy smirk on his face and internally cry.

"Hey, baby, why the fuck are you calling me at one-thirteen in the AM?" I respond, a smile growing on my own face. He chuckles quietly, making my insides fumble.

Before he can reply, there's a soft knock against my window. I look over but see nothing. You're on the second floor, Olivia.

"Hold on, Luke,"

I get up and go over to the window.

"Babe-"

"Shh."

I look outside it as another knock sounds from it. And another. And another. I catch a tall figure outside and hear Luke laughing quietly from the other end of the phone.

"Are you throwing rocks at my window, you poetic shit?" I whisper-yell. He laughs again, but now louder. I shush him and he continues to giggle.

"Yeah, I thought you'd think it was cute," he says. I can see him smiling from here. "Come down, pack a few things. Whatever you need for a night." I nod and go to my dresser, throwing pajamas in it and then crossing the hall to get toiletries.

"Where are we going?" I ask, going back to my room and tossing in my phone charger. Just in case.

"You'll see." He murmurs. "Hurry up, babe."

I go over to my window and open it. He looks at me like I'm nuts. "Well? Are you going to catch me?" I ask. He chuckles and comes over. He holds his arms out for me. It's not too much of a drop...

I carefully slide off the edge of the window and fall right into his arms. He holds me tightly. "I was scared for you," he chuckles. He sets me down and points to the window.

"Still open," he says. I just shrug, "We'll be back," I smile.

We go to what must be his mom's car and he lets me in. I sit inside and he climbs in, smiling at me. He leans over and kisses me for a moment.

"So, where we going?" I ask him as we're driving. He tries to find something on the radio for us to listen to.

"We're going to another town," he smiles. My eyes widen. We have to be back in the morning. We won't have time...

"We'll be back in time," Luke says. I look out the window and study the light frost on the window.

"Are we, like, going to stay in a hotel, or something?" I ask. He chuckles a little and shakes his head.  "That's lame."

"No, you're just crazy." I roll my eyes.

"Here's to teenage memories, right?"

He keeps driving for a while. I swear he gets lost at least twenty times, and those times are filled with us talking about everything and nothing. We talk everything from about what we wanted to do as a kid to how many relatives we have that have passed.

Luke stops at a stop sign, which actually surprises me a little, considering he's Luke, and leans over and kisses me. I giggle and thank God no one is driving at this time, or we'd get honked at.

"I've always wanted to do that." He smiles. I raise an eyebrow. "Kiss me?"

He just laughs and shakes his head before driving. He hums along to the Green Day song on the radio. "Kiss you at a stop sign,"

We keep kissing at the stop signs until we make it to a small little town around three. He parks in a random spot on the side of the street and we get out. Luke grabs my hand and pulls me around, running around and making a fool of himself. I laugh and join in.

If we could've, we would've destroyed that town in the dark, only lit up by street lights. Luke takes me back to the car and grabs a few blankets. He walks me to a small park we passed by and we lay out the bigger blanket.

He lays down on it and looks up at the stars. I lay next to him and cuddle against his side, his arm wrapping protectively around me.

"What do you want to be, Olivia?" He asks. I look up at him, but he's gazing at the sky of stars above us.

"Like, when I grow up?" I ask, noticing how much I sound like a child. He nods, though, finally letting his eyes meet mine. I let my shoulders shrug.

"I haven't figured it out." I say with a sigh. I've thought of being a dancer or a writer or something, but I don't really know yet.

"I want our band to get big. That's all I've ever wanted to do, sing and play guitar. Even if we're not too big, that's cool. It'd just be cool to get a fan base and be able to play shows, like even arenas." He says. I hold onto him tighter.

"I believe in you, Luke."
