Snake people are scary

It's been a few hours since Diana had woken up... a lot had happened since then.

By a lot, I meant a scary snake lady chasing us.

Did I mention that I was deathly afraid of snakes?

Diana was too...

She also had sea green eyes just like mine... Weird...

We were sitting beside a river when we heard a voice...

"We're almost there!" It said.

"Who's-" Diana started to shout.

"Shush..." I whispered. Gesturing for her to be quiet as I listened.

"Almost where?" Another voice asked. As I started walking towards the voices.

"James river." The last voice answered. As I accidentally stepped on a twig.

"Who's there?!" The first voice asked.

Diana and I stepped out of our hiding spot.

We watched as they lowered their weapons.

I stepped back and pulled Diana with me.

"Wait!" The older girl with the scary looking shield said.

I flinched when I saw her shield.

"Keep your shield Thalia," The only boy there said, "Your scaring them..."

I watched in awe as her shield turned into a bracelet.

"It's magic!" I heard Diana say.

I smacked the back of her head, "Not now..." I muttered.

"What are you little girls doing here?" The older girl said.

"We don't know..." I muttered looking down.

"I was sleeping..." Diana muttered as I rolled my eyes.

"You were unconscious!" I said for what seemed like the hundredth time.

Diana shrugged. "Meh."

"We can't remember anything..." I said.

"Really?" The younger girl said

"Yup." Diana said.

The trio looked at each other, as if they were having a silent conversation.
