Persephone Jackson hopped out of the car with one of those mini fans you can buy that held m&m's in her hand. She couldn't believe how hot it was and hadn't really expected it.

Klaus and Stefan casually got out of the car though, seeming to not even feel the heat.

"How are you guys wearing long-sleeved shirts?" Percy asked as she went back inside the car to get out another m&m mini fan.

"Magic, love," Klaus mysteriously said before turning to Stefan, "Welcome back to Chicago, Stefan."

"What are we doing here?" Asked the Salvatore.

Percy looked at the two strangely. Klaus acted as if he and Stefan knew each other before the whole doppelganger thing, but she thought that Stefan had only met Klaus in Mystic Falls because of the doppelganger thing.

"I know how much you loved it here. Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days?" Klaus said.

That statement made Percy shove the fan in his face like a microphone before asking him, "What's a ripper?"

Klaus turned to Percy as if that was his favorite question, as he glanced at Stefan with a smug look before looking back at the demigod and saying, "A ripper is what we like to say when we talk about sadistic vampires who love mutilating their victims,"

Percy, never having really seen a side of that in Stefan, looked at the younger Salvatore in confusion, "I thought you were on the Twilight diet? Are they all secret rippers?"

Stefan refused to answer, causing Percy to turn back to Klaus and asked a bit innocently, "Can you say 'ripper' again?"

Klaus gave a wicked smile as he looked directly towards Stefan while giving Percy the pleasure to hear him speak in his accent, "Ripper,"

Percy gave half a giggle and half a laugh before nearly shouting, "Rippah!"

Stefan gave her an annoyed look before turning towards Klaus and answering his previous question about his memories during his ripper days, "Blacked out most of them. A lot of blood, a lot of partying. The details are all a blur."

"Well, that is a crying shame. The details are what make it legend," Klaus said before continuing, "Chicago was magical."

"Yeah, well, I'll take your word for it. Like I said, I don't remember most of it." Stefan said, causing Percy to stop her fan then going to him, looping her arm through his, and cheerfully walk with him.

"It's alright, Steffy! There's no problem with not remembering some time! I have six months in my mind missing,"

Stefan looked at Percy in complete worry while Klaus chose to not address what she said and instead asked Stefan a bit rhetorically, "Going to get down to business, then?"
