I've read my earlier chapters in this book... and oh my god they're so fast paced and cringy.
"You do realise that I technically haven't graduated, right?"
"And I should care, why?" Klaus asked as he drove down the windy highway with the windows all down.
"I can't keep missing my graduation. You should've at least let me get my diploma before kidnapping me." Percy argued, dissapointed in the fact that it seemed she wasn't going to be able to go to college in New Rome any time soon.
"Well, as far as I know, you could have called all your precious little friends and told them to get to that wretched town."
"And how are you so sure that I hadn't told them before we left?"
"Because you're smarter than that."
"Me? Smart? Well, that's a first."
"Can you guys stop your bickering?" Stefan interrupted from the back, obviously disappointed by the fact that Percy wouldn't allow herself to sit there instead.
"Ooh, Mr. Broody speaks!" Percy yells out with a laugh.
She then turned to look at him, "How you enjoying the trip?"
Instead of answering her, he goes and asks, "Are you enjoying the trip?"
"Well, a trip's a trip," Percy said with a smile. "And besides, Damon would kill me if I let anything happen to you."
"You're forgetting that I'm the vampire, you're not." He pointed out.
At this, Percy gave a cheeky smile. "And you're forgetting that I can kick your butt if I wanted to."
"Says who?"
As Percy went to answer, Klaus interrupts. "The hunter beats the prey," he then turns to Stefan, "and guess what. You're the prey."
Percy gave a hearty laugh before speaking once again, "Lighten up, Stefan. If I let everything get to me on this trip, then we're gonna get nowhere."
"Wouldn't that be better?" Stefan asked, getting the daughter of Poseidon to let a sigh out.
"No. No, it wouldn't." Percy said before she elaborated, "If we get nowhere, then that means a longer time on the road. And I really want to get back home soon."
Before anyone could say anything else, Percy put her headphones in and turned it up to the loudest it could, and she then faced the open window and closed her eyes, hoping to fall asleep.

"Get up." Percy barely heard as she was shaken, her headphones having been removed but still blasting music.
"Five more minutes, mom." She whined, bringing her legs closer to her chest and trying to get more and more sleep.
"Percy, get up." She heard the voice call again but didn't register that it was a male voice until she felt arms under her legs and neck, before getting lifted up.
Right as that happened, she opened her eyes as fast she could and pushed away from the person who was carrying her, not caring about the fact that she landed on the cement ground as hard as she could've.
The sea green eyed girl looked up at the person and squinted, rubbing at her eyes before crossing her arms and getting herself to look as intimidating as possible.
