Percy gripped her flashlight as she walked by Elena and Alaric through a tunnel in the cellar, having heard that there was something she and Elena had to see.
"So, the Lockwoods really have no idea that these tunnels are underneath their property?" Elena asked as they made their way through the tunnel.
"If they did, then they would've probably done something with it like cover it up so pesky people like us don't uncover all of its secrets," Percy commented as she waved her flashlight, trying to make sure that nothing like a spider or any other type of bug was going to drop onto her head.
"Careful where you shine that thing. Bats hate the light," Alaric advised the demigod and doppelganger all of a sudden.
Percy raised her eyebrow at him while flashing the light in his fight, "Wanna bet?"
At the same time, Elena looked at him nervously, "Wait, what?"
Percy turns around at the sound of a foot landing on the ground. It was barely even something that anybody could register and hear, but she'd heard it.
She saw Damon quietly come up to Elena before giving a wink to Percy and raising his finger to his lips.
She tried her best to keep her grin from showing as he whispered next to the doppelgangers ear, "Elena!"
The brunette turns around in a swift second and sees him, but before her mind could register it, he whisper-shouted, "Boo!"
Percy starts to laugh loudly as Elena basically jumped a couple feet in the air, barely missing the ceiling of the tunnel.
"Ah! God, Damon!" Elena gasped, her hand to her heart.
"Scaredy-cat!" Damon remarked before giving Percy a high-five, her trying to calm down her laughing but only to start up again as she pictured it happened in her head over and over.
Alaric barely looked at his drinking pal before advising, "Just ignore him. That's what I do."
"Well, that's not nice. You said the hint to being sane right in front of him! You've hurt his feelings and exploited my secret!" Percy whispered in annoyance as she pats his back, ignoring the annoyance written all over his face.
They kept walking as Elena asked, "So, you really can't get in?"
Damon shakes his head, "No. Seems even the ancient Lockwoods were anti-vampire."
"What do you mean, ancient?"
Damon gestured forward, "See for yourself."With this, they walk further into the tunnels, to a cave which Percy could make out faint marking on the walls.
"This is awesome," Percy whispered in astonishment as she walked into the cave, ignoring how everyone else had stopped.
She flashed her light over the walls, going over as she saw marks on them.
