Damon and Stefan were driving towards the Atlantic to dump Klaus' body while Percy was fast asleep in the back seat when decided to call the raven-haired Salvatore.

"You did what?"

"I took her to the hospital," Jeremy answered without missing a beat or flinching, "When you find your sister unconscious, you call 911."

"Not when you have a parade of vampires at your disposal!" Damon snapped as he subconsciously checked his rearview mirror to check on Percy.

Stefan looked at his brother with furrowed eyebrows once he realized he was using the rearview mirror.

He then turned to look back at Percy, who was in a restless slumber and was shifting around, miraculously not falling off the seat.

He gave a tiny wince before saying to his brother about the Elena situation, "Every remaining Original is gonna want Elena dead to stop Alaric. She's a sitting duck in there."

"Well, Meredith wants to keep her here for observation," Jeremy answered back.

"Jeremy, get Elena home, we're on our way," Damon ordered before hanging up and turning to his brother, "Have I told you lately how much I appreciate you not being the dumbest brother on Earth?"

"You know one of us needs to keep moving, right? If Klaus really is the sire of our bloodline, we need to keep his body hidden before Alaric finds him, kills him, and we all end up dead."

Damon gave a sigh, "Our life is one, big, proverbial coin toss."

Stefan could only nod in agreement as he used the rearview mirror to discreetly look at Percy, unsure if and how to break the news to his brother that she wasn't all that she seemed.

Time skip to -  a half hour before it is time make plans with the gang and Elijah.

Damon drummed a beat on his steering wheel as he watched his brother hop out the car with whatever grace he had before bounding up the steps of the Gilbert household.

The older Salvatore bit back a grimace as he turned around to find Percy still passed out, but this time being calm and quiet while asleep.

He gave a frown but put a wall up around the guilt that started to build up in his throat before revving up his engine and starting to drive away.

The older Salvatore brother could not help but keep glancing at his mirror to look at the raven-haired beauty, every time having to constrict himself from stopping the car and waking her up and doing whatever she asked.

He probably owed her that much.

Klaus was not his favorite guy. Not even close. The big bad hybrid had been on his 'most hated' at number three, right behind Katherine and Elijah but right before Mason Lockwood.
