Colours

A trickle of crimson blood,
And the midnight blue sky.
The sense of blackness
As we say goodbye.

The slash of pink in a sunset
And the lush green, summers grass.
The yellow in the golden sun,
Oh how we wish it would last.

The silver in a star,
The white in purity.
The gold in a medal,
That has just been handed to me.

Hazel swirls that represent tea
And the brown muddy ground.
Purple, a representative of royalty
And the colour blue is all around.

Turquoise, the colour of the sea.
Teal, a mix of blue and green.
The bronze in an antique
And orange is making itself seen.

Colours are wonderful.
They make a paradise.
Without colours there would just be darkness,
And nothing would be nice.
