We're so caught up in our day,
That we forget how to rest.
So we sit there fidgeting,
Because we think life's a test.

We forget to talk,
We forget how to sing,
We forget how to listen,
We forget everything.

So take a moment to live,
Take a moment to breathe,
Take a moment to laugh,
And a moment to sneeze.

Take a moment to smile,
So people know you're okay.
Take a moment to rest,
At the end of the day.

Take a moment to listen,
To peoples words of advice,
They might come in handy,
And help you think twice.

Take a moment to frown,
Take a moment to cry,
Take a moment to shrug
And a moment to sigh.

Take a moment to talk,
About why you're upset,
Take a moment to celebrate
At the target you've met.

Take a moment to love,
Take a moment to hate,
Take a moment to wave,
On the other side of the gate.

Because life is full of wonders,
Don't leave without a fight
You're not getting assessed,
So at least live it right.
