A film in your head.
To read is to calm down
Before you go to bed.
To read is to dream
Of a daring sword fight.
To read is to listen
All the way through the night.
To read is to think
Of places to live,
A king and a queen
And memories to give.
To read is to love
A place in your heart.
To read is to stay,
It's too early to part.
To read is to care
Of the books you love best.
To read is to curl up,
In the pillows of a nest.
To read is to hold
A book in your hands.
To read is to go
To far off lands.
To read is to digest
With milk in a cup.
To read is to hope
And never give up.
