"Why do you care about me?" I asked calmly, my eyes boring into the tall Serpent boy infront of me.
"Who said I did?" He says smugly, a small grin tugging at his perfectly formed lips.
"Fuck you." I say bluntly.
(A/N, I'll be taking this book from season two, Chapter Sixteen: The Watcher In The Woods,so you'll be reading about Nova in Season One throughout the story, unless I plan to write another book in full detail completely based on Nova in Season One, but I highly doubt anyone will be that interested🤷♀️) - - -

"Do you think this is a good idea?" I ask my twin brother as we stand outside of which is now our so called school. "I mean, I can practically smell the drugs and criminal activity from here" He rolls his eyes and scoffs at me.
"You're being dramatic" He says, and carries on walking towards the doors of the school. I stand there for a moment, letting him walk on as I take in my surroundings. The school definitely wasn't the best looking, like, at all, but at the end of the day, it's what's on the inside that counts... right? My eyes evert to the large metal doors that were welcoming the students to what looked like actual hell, and not only that, there were literal metal detectors lined around each door- not that I'm surprised at all. The teens scattered around the area were all as you would say, typical teens. There were the loud ones, obnoxiously making comments to everyone who walked past them, the quiet ones who stood just outside the doors, clearly not wanting any trouble, and then there were the Southside Serpents and the Ghoulies. Clearly they weren't at every school ever, but here, especially on the Southside, seeing a signature leather jacket with a specific green snake carefully sewn onto it was like any one of you walking past a rowdy dog on a leash.
I then jog up to Jughead and slow down next to him. "What If we get mugged?" I asked, jokingly. He rolls his eyes once more and I scoff.
"One day, Jughead Jones, you're gonna roll your eyes so hard they'll literally pop out of their sockets" I say.
"Ha Ha. Like I haven't heard that one before." He says, playfully shoving me.
I shove him back, harder. "Okay stop." He says.
I just grin at him and take over as I quickly walk towards the doors. I pass through the detectors fine, until Jughead walks through and a loud ringing noise starts to erupt through my ears.
"It's my pins" He says casually and points to his signature beanie.
"Take it off and go through again." The security guy said. I sigh loudly and both Jughead and the security guy rolled their eyes at me.
He goes through once again and the guy tosses him his hat. "You have the patience of a five year old" he mutters to me.
"Well actually, I've met multiple five year olds in my short time on this earth, and they seemed to have a great lot of patience, so you might want to check your facts, Jones." I grin proudly at him.
