We all sat at our kitchen table eating breakfast when we hear a knock on the door.

I gesture for Jughead to get it and he groans, standing up and opens the door.

"Sheriff Keller, what a surprise." Jug says sarcastically.

"Jughead, FP, Nova. Sorry to bother you, but it's uh..." Keller begins.

I roll my eyes.
"We do not have General Pickens' head. And we do both know who stole it." I say.

"Same as the last four times you asked us and our neighbours." My dad says.

"You know Sheriff, these visits are starting to feel a lot like harassment. There's absolutely no evidence, zero proof whatsoever pointing to any particular group of suspects." Jughead says, and I hear a motorcycle pull up outside, using this chance to leave the convocation.

"Yeh, uh, gotta go." I say, grabbing my bag, "bye."

I see them all look at me suspiciously as I leave.

"I've already invited Archie, but I want you guys to come as well. Usually these kinds of events, baptisms, confirmations, are family-only. But since its all about me, and you guys are my chosen family, I pulled strings and reserved you a pew" V says grinning.

"What is the dress code?" I ask, and Jug laughs.

"Catholic-chic... so dresses for the girls, veils optional. And coats and ties for the boys." V says, and I nod.

I then hear the click of the speakers around the school.

"Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper to the principals office." He repeats.

They both look at eachother and I pull a face.

"So what did Weatherbee want." I ask Jug as we walk out of the school.

"Ranting to us about the article I wrote." He says.

I nod my head, not saying anything.

"Coming to the Whrym?" He asks.

I shake my head.
"I'll be there in a bit, I need to find a dress for V's confirmation."

"Good luck with that." He says, laughing.

We part our ways and I head into town, I slip my headphones in.

It's not that far away, so I decide to leave catching the bus.

After a while of shopping, I found the perfect dress.
Content with what I found, I headed towards the Southside to go to the Whyrm.

It was beginning to go dark outside now, so I tugged on my jacket and pulled it closer to me.

The air was cool, but it was freezing cold.

As I rounded a corner I hear a clash against the trash cans and I furrowed my brows, stopping in my steps.

What the fuck?

I see a guy walking down the alley way, and I squint my eyes, trying to get a good look.

He was wearing a spiked jacket, and the rest of the outfit was over the top.
That's when I realised it was a Ghoulie.

I roll my eyes.
"Great."

He walks closer to me, his eyes getting darker.
