I groan as I feel someone nudging me.

"What the hell do you want?" I ask groggily, not even bothering to open my eyes.

"There's a case in Indiana, Sam and I are going to go. Do you wanna come with?" Dean asks and I sit straight up.

"Yeah, give me like five minutes to pack a bag." I say, sliding out of bed and throwing clothes and weapons into my duffle. I yawn and grab my phone, frowning at the time. 3 am. Why can't we ever leave at a normal time? Oh well. I pause, looking at the dozens of texts from Stiles and Scott that I haven't responded to. Keeping them away is going to be hard, but it's the only way I know to protect them. My fingers hover over the keyboard while I debate letting them know that I'm going to be gone. Instead, I just sigh and toss my phone into my bad. I throw my bag over my shoulder and slip my shoes on, practically bouncing down the stairs.

"Ready?" Sam asks, and I nod. I follow them out to the Impala, taking my normal seat. It's been weeks since we went on a hunt just the three of us. I inhale deeply, relishing the smell of the Impala, and how it smells like home. Like everything I've ever known.

"So what is this case about?" I ask and Sam turns to Dean with his eyebrows raised.

"Well, um, you see, er." Dean stutters out, turning to Sam with a pleading look. I raise an eyebrow at the two before it finally clicks.

"Oh my god, we're just going so you can hook up with some chick!" I shriek and Dean flinches slightly.

"There is a possible case, but it's mostly the girl thing." He admits and I shake my head.

"You are such a dickhead sometimes, you know?" I say, crossing my arms.

"Why am I a dickhead? I invited you to come with. I didn't make you stay at the Argents and go to school." Dean argues back.

"We are driving to Indiana, from California, for you to hook up with a girl. You do realize this is time we could use trying to figure out a way to save you, right?" I ask and Dean just shakes his head.

"I don't think there's anything we can do, Tor. You're just going to have to accept that and make the best out of the time that I have left with you and Sammy." Dean says. I shake my head.

"I can't believe you, Dean. First you say that you'll look for a way to live, and now you're giving up and going to sleep with some chick on the other side of the freaking country! I don't believe you. Why don't you care about living? Why don't you care about coming to my high school graduation? Why don't you give a shit about anything?" I scream at him, angry tears falling down my face.

"Victoria stop yelling. Dean hasn't given up. He's just....trying to live his life to the fullest while he still can. Bobby is still looking for a way to save him, and we haven't stopped either. Why don't you go back to sleep? I'll wake you up when we get closer to Indiana." Sam says. I huff, but lean my head against the car window and close my eyes. I would leave the conversation alone for now, but I am not done talking to Dean about this.

----

I sit up, stretching and letting out a yawn. I start to panic slightly when I realize that neither Sam or Dean is in the car. I glance out the window and glare at my brother. We were parked outside some house, and he was at the front door talking to some woman. If I had to guess, it was the lady that he made us drive all this way to hook up with. I storm out of the Impala, slamming the door before stalking up to the front door.

"I hate you." I say to Dean, frowning at him and interrupting his conversation with the lady.

"I'm sorry Dean, you kind of came at a bad time. We're having a party." The lady apologizes and Dean grins before walking inside. I shake my head and give the lady an apologetic look before following Dean.

"So, uh, who's the party for?" Dean asks, walking towards the back door.

"Ben. My son." The woman says. I turn to Dean, my eyebrows raised. If he has a kid and hasn't been in that kids life, I will be very mad at him.

"You have a-" Dean starts but she interrupts him.

"Yes. That's him." She says, pointing to a little boy opening presents. He was wearing a black jacket and jeans, looking a lot like a miniature Dean.

"Yes! ACDC rules!" Ben cheers, excitement clear on his face.

"How old?" Dean asks, shock clear on his face.

"Eight. Excuse me for a moment." She says, walking towards another woman. Dean stands there, frozen with shock clear on his face. I shake my head, glaring at my brother.

"Dean, what the hell did you do?" I hiss out, and he simply shrugs, confusion still on his face as he walks towards the cake table. I sigh and follow close behind, regretting my decision to follow Dean in even if he was the one who left me in the car instead of letting me in the hotel. He grabs a slice and walks towards Ben. I roll my eyes, following after him to make sure that he doesn't say anything stupid.

"What's up?" Dean asks, his voice coming out as awkward as the expression on his face.

"What's up with you?" Ben shoots back. I snort. I could get used to this kid.

"So it's your birthday?" I ask, trying to get a conversation going. Ben nods.

"Guilty." He says with a smile.

"It's a cool party." Dean adds, his shoulders still tense.

"Dude, it's so freaking sweet. And this moon bounce-it's epic." Ben replies and my mouth falls open slightly. This child is literally a miniature Dean. If he isn't Dean's son, I will eat my backpack.

"Yeah, it's pretty awesome." Dean replies, and I can tell by the expression on his face that he's thinking the same thing that I am. He has a son.

"You know who else thinks they're awesome? Chicks. It's like hot-chick city out there." Ben says, and I throw my hand over my mouth to stop myself from laughing. Dean's eyes widen and he rushes off towards the house. Ben raises an eyebrow and turns to me. I shrug.

"That's Dean for you. He's my older brother. So, here's a question Ben, do you like pie?" I ask, ready to see how far the similarities go.

"Pie's the best, but Mom said that cake is easier for a group. Which is why we have cake today." Ben says, frowning. I nod, no longer trying to keep the grin off my face. "What's your name?" Ben asks, and I don't hesitate.

"I'm Tori. Happy birthday, by the way." I say and he smiles.

"Thanks. It's weird to be eight though. It's so much older than seven." Ben says very seriously.

"You have a point." I grin. Dean rushes back over to us, grabbing my arm.

"We've gotta go talk to Sam." Dean says and I frown.

"But-" I start, and Dean shakes his head.

"Please don't argue Tori." Dean says and I frown.

"Sorry, Ben. Happy birthday!" I apologize with a small smile.

"It's fine. See you later Tori." He replies and Dean and I rush out of the backyard, back to the Impala.

"Lisa says that he's not mine." Dean says the second he pulls away from the curb.

"And I think that Lisa is full of shit. I mean, she's gone eight years raising Ben. I don't think that she would all of a sudden want help from you, so she might as well not tell you." I say, and Dean frowns.

"Do you really think that he's mine?" Dean asks, and I nod.

"There is no doubt in my mind."
