"Derek's outside waiting for Lydia." Scott says and I let out a huff. Hopefully, Gerard didn't see us all go into this abandoned classroom. If he did, it's not going to end well. "Waiting to kill her?" Allison asks, fear clear on her face. "If he thinks she's the kanima, then yes. Especially after what happened at the pool." Scott says. "It's not her." I say and everyone looks at me. Scott raises an eyebrow. "She didn't pass the test Tori. Nothing happened." He says and I shake my head. "No, can't be her." I insist, crossing my arms. "It doesn't matter, because Derek thinks it's her. So either we can convince him that he's wrong, or we've got to figure out a way to protect her." Allison says, and I nod in agreement. "Well, I really don't think he's gonna do anything here, not at school." Scott points out. "What about after school?" I say. "What if we can prove Derek's wrong?" Allison asks and I shake my head. Not even the Argents know who this creature is. "By three o'clock?" Stiles asks. I start to pace, this is getting serious. My brothers aren't here to back me up and I can't call the Argents. If I call the Argents, then Gerard will know that I'm knowingly siding with a werewolf and I can't get on his bad side. "There could be something in the bestiary." Allison suggests. "Oh, you mean the 900 - page book written in archaic Latin that none of us can read? Good luck with that." Stiles snarks and I nod in agreement with him. "If I could get ahold of Sam he might have an idea, but neither of my brothers are picking up." I say, trying not to let the worry show. Stiles frowns at me and I turn so that he can't see my face. "Well I think I know someone who might be able to translate the pages." Allison adds in, and I'm thankful for the shift. "Uh, I can talk to Derek, maybe convince him to give us a chance to prove that it's not her. But if anything happens, you guys let me handle it, okay?" Scott says and I raise an eyebrow at him. "What's that supposed to mean?" I ask as Allison says "What does that mean?" and he glances at me before turning to Allison. "That you can't heal like I do. I just don't want you to get hurt." He says, and I huff, stepping back from the couple and letting them have their moment. Allison whips out a crossbow from her bag and smirks. "I can protect myself." She says, but her face drops. "What? Did something else happen?" Allison sets the crossbow down and steps closer to Scott. "I just don't want you getting hurt. Seriously, if anything goes wrong, you call me, okay? I - I don't care if your dad finds out. Call, text, scream, yell, whatever. I'll hear you and I'll find you as fast as I can. We have until 3:00." Scott says and turns toward the door. I jump as an arrow whizzes past my ear and nearly hits Scott in the face. I whirl around and raise an eyebrow at Stiles and the crossbow in his hand. "Ah, sorry. Sorry. Sensitive trigger on that." He says, setting it down gently. "I really need to teach you how to pick one of those up without nearly killing someone." I say, rolling my eyes. Scott leaves first, and then Allison walks out a moment later after putting her crossbow back in her bag. I follow, leaving Stiles in the room by himself. Time to go protect Lydia.

I huff as I follow Jackson, Lydia, Allison and Stiles into Scott's house. If Gerard sees this, I'm dead meat. But I have to try and protect Lydia. I can't let an asshole like Derek Hale hurt her. Stiles locks all of the locks on the door before turning to the group. I raise an eyebrow and he lets out a nervous laugh.
"Uh, there's been a few break-ins around the neighborhood." He glances around before grabbing a chair and shoving it under the door knob. "And a murder. Yeah, uh, it was bad." He adds.
"Lydia, follow me. I need to talk to you for a minute." Jackson says suddenly, turning and walking up the stairs.
"Seriously? What is going on with everyone?" Lydia mumbles before following him. I wait til they disappear up the stairs before turning to Allison.
"Do you have any other long range weapons on you? All I have are knives. I left my guns at home." I say, glancing out the window at the empty street.
"Comforting to know you bring knives to school." Stiles mutters and I roll my eyes.
"Honestly, you're lucky it's just a few. There is way too much danger being a Winchester to not carry weapons at all times." I snark. Stiles rolls his eyes, and Allison shakes her head.
"I only have the one crossbow. Maybe we won't even need it. I don't see anyone out there." She says, and I shake my head.
"There's no one out there yet. And if we're going to protect Lydia, you have to accept the fact that we're going to have to use weapons." I say. Allison frowns and glances out the window. I look too, and frown at the group that formed.
"Stiles, let me use your phone." Allison says, and Stiles passes her his phone without hesitation. "It's me." She says after a minute. I tune out the rest of her conversation, keeping an eye on the group of werewolves staring at the house.
"What are you doing?" Stiles asks, getting my attention. I turn and notice Allison on her phone, a few tears on her face.
"I think- I think I have to call my dad." She says and I gasp, instantly shaking my head.
"You can't do that, Allison. Please, don't do that." I beg and she shakes her head.
"What are we supposed to do, Tori? They're not here to scare us. They're here to kill Lydia." Allison says, her voice shaky.
"We do whatever it takes. But we can do this without your father." I say, and she frowns.
"I have an idea." Stiles whispers, stepping between us and looking at Allison. "Just shoot one of 'em."
"Are you serious?" Allison asks.
"We told Scott we could protect ourselves, so let's do it. Or at least give it a shot, right?" Stiles says and Allison nods.
"Okay." She says. I think for a minute, before nodding.
"Stiles is right. Even though I'm here, I doubt Derek expects us to initiate an attack. My guess is, they'll all run if one of them is shot." I say.
"Which one?" Allison asks, holding her crossbow in one hand and moving the curtain aside with the other.
"Uh- Derek. Yeah, shoot him, preferably in the head." Stiles says, wringing his hands together.
"If Scott was able to catch an arrow, Derek definitely can." Allison points out.
"Okay uh, just shoot one of the other three then." Stiles says and Allison shakes her head.
"You mean two." She says and my blood runs cold. I run over to the window, throwing the curtain to the side.
"No, I mean three." Stiles says, rushing over and looking out the window with me.
"Where the hell is Isaac?" I ask, my eyes darting over the group that was definitely missing a werewolf. I turn just in time to see Isaac throw Allison to the ground. He knocks Stiles over and growls before turning to me and smirking.
"Nice to see you again, sweetheart." He growls and I grab the dagger from my boot. I hear Allison get up and run up the stairs, so I turn all of my attention to Isaac and keeping him from getting to Lydia.
"Thought I told you not to call me that." I say, lunging forward and using my arm to block a hit from his claws.
"What would you rather me call you?" He asks with a smirk, lunging at me again. I groan as he manages to hit my shoulder. I dodge another hit, turning and managing to slice his arm with my dagger.
"I'd rather you didn't call me at all." I hiss out, lunging again.
"Stiles, Tori, it's here." Allison calls from upstairs. Isaac turns toward the stairs and I jump in front of him, barely managing to push him away and slicing his other arm.
"Son of a bitch." Isaac growls, lunging towards me again. I start to stop him, but Scott's there instead. He manages to throw Isaac against the wall, knocking him out. He rushes upstairs and I turn to Stiles.
"You okay?" I ask, and he nods. I glance at the stairs and raise an eyebrow when Scott rushes down the stairs, carrying Erica, Allison behind him. I swing the door open and gesture for him to throw them out.
"Well, time to take out the trash." I say and Stiles smirks. Scott throws out Erica, and then he tosses Isaac out before walking onto the porch. I walk out with Allison and Stiles, all of us standing behind Scott.
"I think I'm finally getting why you keep refusing me, Scott. You're not an omega, you're already an Alpha of your own pack. But you know you can't beat me." Derek says with a smirk.
"I can hold you off until the cops get here." Scott replies, and suddenly sirens start blaring a few streets over.
"Get them out of here." Derek instructs Boyd, nodding down at the two motionless werewolves. A hiss makes me rush off the porch, and my jaw drops as I look up at the roof. The kanima hisses at the group before running off, Derek quickly rushing after it.
"Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" Lydia demands, storming out of the open front door, her hands on her hips. I was right. It's not Lydia. It's Jackson.
