Mac's POV
I walked to the corner like every other day to meet Jen and Jac. We have been friends since the beginning of the 4th grade so we go way back. I was a bit early so I stopped by the 7-11 nearby. I got a slushie (Coke, which is my favorite) and some chips for the three of us. When I came back Jen and Jac were talking. It kind of looked like she was crying but I dismissed it. "Looks like Cupid made a Pitstop," I said. "Shut Up Mac!" they said at the same time. "Here I got you chips and how are you guys not together yet?" "Wow just, wow," said Jen. Jac doesn't really speak, he is kind of socially awkward but then again we all are. We know that somewhere in him there are some feelings, specifically feelings for Jen. They look like a couple and they act like one. I don't know how but I have to get them together. Somehow... We walked to school which was about 5 blocks away and started talking about life and... Other stuff (very specific). We still had time to spare so we just sat under a tree near the school and joked around. The bell rang. "UGH," we all said. "Time to go to prison!" Jac said. " It sure feels like it," I said. " It sure looks like it," Jen said and with that. The three of us walked into Winterberg Middle School, expecting a normal day. But this day was far from normal.
