Jac's POV

It was 7:30 so I decided to get ready for school. School is not the best but it's not the worst either. I have all my classes with my BFF's Mac and...Jen. We have been friends for a while and every time I see Jen I feel...complete. She completes me. I walked out to the corner to see Jen crying. Woah. I walked up to her. Not knowing what to say I naturally put my hand on her shoulder. "Jen, why are you crying? Is it-oh. I uh forgot. I-I'm so s-sorry Jen." I forgot her parents had died in a plane when she was 7, 5 years earlier today. She has been living with her aunt since then. I gave her a smile and showed her a picture of my dog Nougat. That always cheered her up. At least her dad never bea- "Looks like Cupid made a Pitstop," Mac said, arriving with a slushie and chips. Mac and I go way back. Since kinder. He is the only person that I have told about my feelings for Jen. I gave him a look and Jen and I said "Shut Up Mac!" at the same time. I blushed a little bit covered it. On the outside I was fine but on the inside... AHHHHHH. THAT NEVER HAPPENS! Stay cool, stay cool. Ok. He gave me Doritos (my favorite, which he knows) and we decided to walk to school. We arrived a bit early and sat under a tree. I was still thinking about last night. How my dad be- The bell rang. "UGH," we all said. "Time to go to prison!" I said. "It feels like it," Mac said. "It looks like it," Jen said. We walked in together, enjoying the last few moments of freedom and then finally sat down at our desks. I could tell it was going to be a long day.
