~ Clarence ~
I’ve been looking out my window for the past 3 hours, gradually becoming more awake by the minute. Although many girls around my age would never wake up at four o’clock in the morning to see the sunrise, I consider myself unique, and it, a privilege. Right now it is 7 o’clock and the boys are still sleeping.
I decide to start making breakfast. Oats. I check the cupboards of the mini van for anything else but food is scarce.
“Dang it! It just had to be oats!” I groan as I pour the oats into 5 bowls. I absolutely hate dry, tasteless, hard oats stuck in a bowl for 2 bucks but I guess it will do for a growing girl.
I sigh as I look out at the beautiful ocean. I then hear a large amount of noise coming from the other side of the beach. My gaze suddenly shifts to the park opposite. A large amount of kids are swarming the park that I was surprised none of them had been squished yet.
“Oh fudge…. TRISTRAM, SAM, DYLAN, MATT YOU GET THOSE DIRTY BUTTS OF THE COUCH ITS SUMMER BREAK!” I scream at the boys.
“What the.. HOLY.. IT IS!!” Tristram yelled back as he jumped out of bed and assisted me in waking up the other three.
Once we were all awake we sat down exhausted after a lot of shouting at each other to get up.
“Oats anyone?” I said as I held up the five bowls of dry oats.

Hey I’m Clarence Loraine May. That's the name I gave myself because I used to have no name. I was rejected by birth and I have been “living” near the seaside for pretty much all my life. When I was little I busked for money with my singing voice and I learned to play guitar. Of course they took back the guitar immediately when they found out I had natural music ability and could give them no more humor.
Being rejected at birth it is almost normal for people to either look down on us or feel a touch of sympathy. Everyday I am amazed that we still have enough money for food and petrol. I guess it is from our music. Thank you God for blessing us with musical talent though we have nothing else.
Nothing else…. I guess that statement would be incorrect. We were lucky enough to be able to survive being rejected and left out on the streets. I guess we are still trying to live our lives to the fullest.
OH MY GOSH!!! First chapter for Clarence!! o.O love her or love her not and how the heck did she end up with a mini van?? ((you will find out soon)) KEEP CALM AND GO CRAZY FOR SHERBERT!! ~Tras
