Chapter 7

I knock at the door and nervously wait for a reply . My anxiety is getting the best of me like always .

Rye let's me and ellie in and we walk into the boys room . There's just silence. Everyone turns to look at me yet Brooklyn dosent even notice me come in , instead , he's just lying on ryes bunk , on his back, grey hoodie on , grey joggers on , hood up over his head , one hand in his pocket and one over his face as he lies with his head up facing the ceiling. All you can hear coming from him is sighs now and then .

" I don't know what to do Rye" he speaks up still covering his face and not looking at us . "Speak to me ? What do you mean ?" Rye replies back while looking at us signaling for us to not say a word . " like I've never been in this state before , I've never felt like this before about anyone "  he says as he pauses then begins again " I do like Amelia , a lot but I try not to show it because it's only gonna break me at the fact she doesn't like me in the same way . I don't know man , my head is a mess and it's because of her , she really means a lot to me man I can't go on like this for much longer . It's  been almost 5 month I've felt this way about her and over the past 12 days , not speaking to her has made me realise how much more she means to me . How I feel a lot more empty when I haven't got her to speak to . "

Ellie , rye and the boys all look back at me with wide eyes and I smile back . That's so reassuring to hear him say that . Why are we so stubborn , all this time we've been putting ourselves though heartbreak thinking we don't feel the same about each other when we do . 
Rye nudges Brooklyn gently and he sits up and immediately sees me . His eyes look blood shot , he's got scruffy messy hair and his bags under his eyes are visible .
he still looks so attractive though not gonna lie .

His eyes light up abit more with happiness as he gets up from ryes bed and comes to hug me .
That was the best hug I've ever had . Although it was just a hug, it was so tight , so safe , so passionate and emotional , like all my worries just came flooding off me . This is all the reassurance I needed . I missed him so much . I've never seen him like this , he had just proven how much I mean to him and that makes my heart melt at the fact he cares about me this much to be feeling like this and looking like this, I thought it was just me. But finally , Brooklyn wyatt feels the same way .
