'I can't do that! You know I've tried.'

'He slept with you for the past six days.'

'Yeah, so he could recover from his training with Vi. We only slept...'

'Hence the problem! How can he wish to stay...'

'He can't stay, you heard that witch!'

'Fine. You need to make him wish to come back to you, to your arms and your thighs and your...'

'LANA!'

'Pot of honey sweetness?'

'Yeah, like you were really going to say that! And I still don't like what you're implying!'

'That's not the story your body told when you were sleeping with him.'

'It was...'

'Just sleeping, yeah, yeah!'

'Next to him, not with him as in...'

'As in you're getting hot and bothered just by arguing about it!'

'I hate you!'

'No, you don't. You're just frustrated. I'd know. I'm you.'

'OK! Change of subject!'

'Right! So how do we make him stay?'

'That's not really a change of subject.'

'We aren't talking about your reaction to his proximity anymore, are we?'

'Fine. But there is nothing more I can do. And you've noticed how he's already reacting better to me. Even if he doesn't see it. So I don't want to do anything that would make him consciously take a step back, again.'

'So you're just going to wait, doing nothing about it?'

'What else CAN I do?'

'I will share the ancient art of seduction with you.'

'That doesn't work on him. And where would you have learned something like that?'

'I didn't. We animal sides have a kind of genetic memory, and we usually don't have to tell you human sides about it. We usually just discreetly guide you.'

'Guess I'm special then.'

'Yeah... a special kind of stubborn!'

'Like I said, I don't want to scare him away.'

'Oh, don't worry! We will be very sly about it!'

'Meaning?'

'Oh, you know. Acting timid, biting your lip, playing with your hair, staying close to him but not close enough to imply anything, touch him as if by accident or as if it means nothing and you're just friendly or even look at him and quickly look away when he looks back at you as is he caught you doing something forbidden. Most of those things you must do when you apparently don't know he's watching you.'

'Wow! That's a lot of information on the subject!'

'Yes. I'm a genius! I'll even teach you exactly how to do it. We can tag team his ass!'

'That's a bit violent, isn't it?'

'Hey, your frustration is my frustration, remember?'

'OK, I guess we could try, as long as he doesn't notice what we're doing.'

'He won't consciously since his brain is fighting so hard against your mate connection.'

"Good morning, everyone!" Alpha Aaron begins, after climbing up on the big rock in the center. "You may be wondering why we've gathered you all here today and I see more than just the able warriors have answered the call, though it was not required. You can all stay for this brief at least.

I'm sure you've all witnessed the fight between Alpha Sorin and Multi-Unity's Vi yesterday and judging by your reactions you have, or at least you know about it.

The transformation you saw into what we call war-form made it all possible. A rather fitting name, considering its many advantages like speed, agility, strength, claws that were otherwise unusable or rather next to nonexistent for wolves.

That was all possible through training and an intensive one at that. The little she-wolf, which was obviously not so little in her war-form managed to go toe to toe with an Alpha wolf and hold her ground.

As you all know, an Alpha can defeat a warhog by himself, with most Alphas able to even handle two of them at the same time.

I ask you this: can Vi, with her current training, successfully fight and win against a warhog?"

"Yes!"

"Of course!"

"Yeah!"

"Definitely!"
