Opal walked to the driver's door of the car, finding that it was surprisingly unlocked. She quickly scanned the front and back seats, seeing that it was clean, only a layer of dust covering it. She quickly unlocked the trunk and heard Quinn open it.

Opal approached Quinn again, watching as he sorted through the miscellaneous items in the back of the car.

Opal knew that this was the perfect opportunity to finally get some clothes that she would wear, so that she wouldn't have to borrow from Lori every night and day.

She started to fish through everything, finding a dark red shirt that was definitely too big for her, but she enjoyed wearing clothes that were large on her. Jeremy would make her wear very tight clothes, to show off her small frame, which Opal absolutely despised. She had disliked her body since she was young, and that had turned into a hatred as she grew older.

She felt like her body was too small. Shoulders not broad enough and and her chest smaller than she would expect. It made her look like she was a child. Which she was, yet she looked as if she was still going through puberty.

She quickly slid the shirt over the shirt she was currently wearing. She could feel that it was probably cotton, meaning that she wouldn't get too hot during the hot summer Georgian days.

"Opal!"

Opal looked up, startled by the sudden whisper yell, she saw Rick jogging over to the duo.

"Get under the cars! Walkers!" He told, quickly leaving them in the dust while Quinn and Opal made their way under a truck.

The feet started to shuffle past the truck, Opal looked to Quinn, the two instantly making eye contact.

It's okay. Quinn mouthed.

Opal nodded, her fear rising as she continued to hear the walkers pass by.

The feet finally finished going by them, and they waited a few more seconds to finally get out.

Opal slid out from under the car, just in time to see Sophia run into the woods, two walkers on her trail. Opal quickly started to sprint to Sophia, Rick closely behind her. Sophia tried her best to get away from the walkers, and once Opal had gotten to her, she was still safe from them.

Rick quickly shot down the monsters and Opal looked around at their surroundings.

"Do you recognize this area at all?" she questioned.

She heard Rick sigh, and saw him run a hand over his face.

"Are we lost?" Sophia questioned.

Opal didn't want to answer.

Thankfully, Rick did, "Yes."

Tears started to enter they young girl's eyes. She started to think about her mother, and what she would do if they would never make their way back to the highway. Those thoughts made tears start to stream down her face.

Opal crouched down to match her height, "Hey, Sophia, It'll be fine. We'll find our way back and get to your mom."

Sophia nodded, bringing Opal into a hug.

"I'm gonna try and head back to the highway, you two stay here and I'll bring some of the group and come and get you," Rick told.

Opal nodded, agreeing with the idea.

"You're leaving us?" Sophia asked, worry in her voice.

Rick nodded, "Just for a short while, then I'll come back with the group, with your mom."

Sophia nodded, she didn't want to argue with the adult. She just wanted to get out of the woods as soon as possible.

"What do you have on you, Opal?" Rick asked.

"My knife," she quietly replied.

Rick grabbed his gun out of his holder and put in front of her face, "Here, take my gun. Just if something bad happens."

Opal nodded, she didn't want to take his gun, just incase he ran into trouble and needed it, but she knew that Rick wouldn't want to argue.

Rick then quickly left the two in the woods.

"Are you scared?" Sophia asked after sitting there for a few minutes.

Opal shrugged, "Yeah, I guess."

"I am," Sophia told.

Then they were left in silence. Opal gripped the gun in her hand, her finger on the trigger. Thankfully, the safety was off so she wouldn't accidentally shoot her or something around her.

They sat for a few minutes, anxiously waiting for the group to come back.

Nobody dared to say anything, scared that they could miss something that could be happening in the woods currently.

"Hey, uh, Miss?"
