"Do you want to go outside, Rick?" Opal asked, hoping that he would be up to getting some more fresh air.

"No, you can't," Hershel started. "We need blood, now."

Rick nodded, walking into the room that Carl was laying in.

Opal was left alone once again. Nothing to do except sit on the couch and wait.

She tried multiple times to pass the time, tapping her foot, humming a quiet song, but then being told to stop by somebody that was close enough to hear her.

SHe didn't want to sit in Carl's room, just incase that something would go wrong and she could be in the way.

She continued to sit, until Maggie walked out of Carl's room and sat on the chair that was across from Opal. "Do you wanna a deck of cards? I've gotta go get Lori real quick," she suggested.

Opal nodded, "If it's alright."

Maggie nodded and jogged over to a closet that was near the duo and grabbed was Opal had guessed was a deck of cards.

The woman threw the deck onto the table that was in front of the chair Opal was sitting in. "Here."

"Thanks," she muttered as Maggie was out the door.

Opal sighed and got out the cards, she started to play solitaire, a one person game that her mother had taught her when she was young.

It seemed like forever until MAggie came back, Opal must've played 10 or more rounds of solitaire. Yet when she came in, Rick was instantly out of the house, quick to hug his wife. The two were crying in each other's arms and it made Opal feel sad. She wished that she could have somebody to hug if she was feeling down. Somebody she could break down with. SOmebody who would be by her side when she needed it. Yet, she knew that in this world, the chances of actually finding somebody were slim.

She went back to playing her card game while Lori and Rick came back into the house, still holding each other tightly. THe two didn't seem to notice Opal as they both went into Carl's bedroom.

Then, there was yelling again, "Rick! We need blood," Hershel exclaimed.

Opal could hear a faint cry come from Lori. Opal wanted to go and help, yet she knew that she wouldn't be of any use.

After a decade of minutes, everybody came out of the room except Lori and Rick.

"Is he stable?" Opal asked, hope on her face.

Hershel nodded, "for now. HOpefully Otis and Shane will be back soon."

Opal nodded in agreement. "They will," she assured.

Hershel smiled, glad to see an optimist that was still in this world.

Everyone then went back to whatever they wanted to do, leaving Opal to go back to her game of solitaire.

She continued to play, until it had turned dark outside. Surprisal turned up in Opal's system when she heard the front door open to reveal Glenn and T-Dog. SHe stood up from her chair and approached the two.

"Are you guys okay?" she asked, hoping for a non-negative answer.

Glenn nodded, while T-Dog's gaze when down to his forearm. Wrapped around it was bandaging, protecting it from any bacteria that could possibly get into whatever the would could possibly be.

"What happened?" Opal asked, worry in her voice.

"We were searching for you and Sophia, and I cut my arm on some random wire that was set up," he told.
