Chapter 8 : When he didn't call

"Hey, Lucy!!! Come." Sally shouted as she waved her hands and stood. She looked silly.

Any way, I walked towards her catching my phone. I was pretty nervous and worried. I wanted him to call me to help if any thing went wrong. Some how, I got used to him helping me. And I depend on him now in saving me from any trouble although I have no idea who is he. If he weren't Justin. I mean why would he compete with Justin if he was Justin. Aghhhh!!!

"Hey Sally, You look amazing!" I said as I saw her friends sitting with her.

"Thank you...Are you going to eat anything?"

"No." I said as I put some of my hair behind my ear.

"Ok...At least order a drink."

"mmmmm...Ok!" I nodded.

"Are you going to the dance?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"I'm single and I don't have a date."

"Too bad."

I sat with her and she told me that her bestfriend was Justin's girlfriend. yeah, it did make me feel bad. Very bad.

Her friends were so annoying and coky. But I had to get used to it. They started talking with me and making fun of me. But I smiled and continued talking. In between the talk I glanced several times the same man looking at me.

"Where did you sleep today, Lucy? hahaahahahah...In the garbage??" One of her friends asked me.

"What??" I replied really surprised of the way she said it and all laughed.

I wanted to leave but Sally insisted to let me stay. Then, again I saw that man looking at me.

I quickly stared at him in anger. What if this was him?

Or, maybe he's just some one who liked me and wanted to talk to me. Please god let him love me so much!! And send me his number.

Finally, I have got a boy's attention. I suddenly got a text message. With my eyes still linguring on his. And him smiling at me.

I looked at my phone to see the text message.

' Carla, if you like him don't be shy to talk to him. Tell Sally. She'll help.'

I was greatful to him again. I whispered to Sally that I wanna speak to her alone without her friends.

She agreed and came with me to the restroom.

"What's wrong with you Lucy??"

"You know that I'm single, right?"

"Yeah."

"There is a man staring at me since the minute I reached here."

"Really????" She said with exitment.

"yeah, Can you go talk to him and see wheather he wants to talk to me?"

"yeah! sure! wait."

She went towards him and I went to eat an ice cream until she finishes her mission.

After few minutes she came to me.

"He wants to....." she said with a sad face which caused my pulse to race. " He wants to talk to you!" She screamed with a huge smile on her face. I jumped into her arms and hugged her so hard.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I yelled.

I went towards him.

"Hey, Lucy."
