Chapter 14: WASN'T my birthday!!

Lucy's pov

Yesterday was one of the best and the creepiest days I've seen in all the days of my existance.

I wasn't able to stop thinking about Justin or the unknown guy from the restaurant.

After taking my shower and getting ready for school I placed both the things on my bed slowly. The umbrella and Justin's gift.

I can't believe I still didn't open the gift. I grabed it slowly and opened it. It was a ring. An orange ring. I hate orange. More than any color. And I don't usually wear rings like that.

Justin doesn't quiet know me. Unfortunately.

I grabbed my bag after hiding both the gifts under my bed.

"Goodbye mom. Goodbye Dad." I yelled as I ran to the door.

I usually walk to school without passing the restaurant beside our house. But, today of course it's different. I walked into the place and saw an old woman behind the bars.

"Excuse me. Yesterday, there was a boy. He works here. Where is he now?"

"No boys work here now."

"What?!!"

"I work here. Do you want anything?"

I shook my head wondering. "No thanks." I answered.

I pushed the door in fury and went out of the place walking towards my school.

What is happening to me?!

I finally reached school.

"Lucy!" Sally yelled.

"Yes." I answered faking a smile.

"Sorry I didn't tell you yesterday but...Happy birthday."

"Why? It's not my birthday."

"Yesterday...Wasn't it your...birthday?" She asked nervously.

"No." I smiled.

"Oh. Justin told us it was your B.day."

"That's why he brought me a gift?"

"Maybe."

"I'm sorry but it wasn't my birthday."

"I see."

"Justin!!" I yelled as I saw him walking by the toilets.

"Yeah, good morning."

"Yesterday...Why did you bring me a gift?"

"I thought it was your birthday but there was no sign of any party thats why I was kinda embarrassed. But, I had to give you the gift anyway."

"What made you think it was my B.day?"

"A boy told me yesterday. He was at the principal's office."

"What boy?!" I asked surprisingly.

"I don't know his name. Did you like the gift?" He asked smiling. I couldn't tell him the truth that I'd never wear such an orange ring!

"Yeah...Thanks anyway!"

"LOL. That's kind of creepy. I gotta go. Have a class."

I nodded and left to find my locker again.When I was just about to open it, I found a paper glued on it.

I read the italic letters which were:

You build up a world of magic

Because your world is tragic

What kind of joke is that?!!!!

Is it another prank? Justin didn't write it so who the hell is doing that?!!

I gazed at it for so long thinking about it.

A boy was calling me. A boy was texting me. A boy was poking me on face book. A boy told Justin that my birthday was yesterday. I think it's the same boy doing all of that!

Who ever he is, he must be stopped.

Lucy's mom's pov

I recieved a call from the therapist few minutes ago. She wanted to check if Lucy is alright with out her phone. She also said that she wanted us to pay her a visit.

I waited for Carla to come as I was talking to her dad on the phone describing everything. He told the therapist about the things she said about the boy who had been stalking her then it turned to be nothing. So, the therapist wanted to see us.

I took my keys and called Lucy's school. We will leave Luke at the house and tell him that we were going to the bank.

Lucy's pov

I wanna see the principal's office. Justin said the guy was in it when he told him about my birthday.

What would be my excuse?

I slowly went towards the principal's office. I walked inside carefully.

"Lucy, your mom just called. She said that you have an appointment with your doctor."

The principal said surprising me.

I stared at her with wide eyes.

"Okay!!" I said then ran out of the office awkwardly.

The doctor? Which doctor?

I went to my locker to grab my stuff and go home.

When suddenly the bell above my head rang loud enough to burst my tender eardrums.

Sally walked towards me slowly.

"Where are you going?" She asked realizing I'm leaving.

"Well, mom called and she said I have a doctor appointment."

"You do?"

"I don't know."

"I wanted to talk to you about Justin."

"Okay, go on."

"I know you like him like all the other girls...But, did he open up with you about  the reason behind his break up."

"Well, he..." I shook my head. " I think he hadn't had a chance to."

"His ex is my friend. And she spilled it all. Justin shows intrest in all the girls Lucy...But, he also cheets on them. He cheeted on her."

"What??!" I asked.

"I mean, you're a friend now and I had to tell you cuz it looked like you loved him. He may also show you that he likes you but he likes other girls too."

"No, that's not true!" I denied.

"He loves being with girls and reading about girls. Specially, when every girl thinks that she's the one."

I stood with tears threatening to fall. He's a womanizer?!!!

"I'm sorry Lucy, but I had to warn you before it gets any far."

I took my stuff and nodded. Then, ran outside the school. I saw his red ferrari. I went to kick it and then ran home.

Hey guys

Whats up? Okay...Okay...This is not a fairytale. Lucy is still not sure about this. It could be Sally lying to her to have Justin or just trying to warn her.

Another appointment with the therapist. That doesn't sound so good.

Who is the mysterious boy from the beginning to the story?
