Dad wasn't at home. He is a surgeon. He stays at the hospital till late.
I wanted to find the car keys. I know how bad it is to lose them.
I even have no friends at all to call for help. I'm lonley all the time. It's nothing new.
Where can I look for the keys?! If only I knew where lost them!
I live in New York. It's a crazy loud city. The day I came here I wanted to have alot of friends. I had plans and things to do with them but I couldn't just make any. Every day at my school I only get bullied and ignored. The cheering team hates me and all the rest just never notices me. I can't even have a boyfriend. I never had one. I'm 17 and yet I never felt this feeling when you have someone who really cares about you.
Suddenly my phone rang causing my pocket to light up. I stared at it wondering who would it be. Mom? She has just kicked me out and Dad is too busy making surgeries.
I decided to pick it up. I caught it with my hand and stood at the middle of the street. I stared at the number calling me.
Who would it be?? It's an unknown!! I don't have anyone to expect a call from. Then who is it?
"Hello?" I answered slowly.
"Hey Lucy." An unfamiliar boy sound replied. I'm sure it's a man's voice but it's not Dad.
"Yeah, Who's this?"
"You don't know me Lucy?"
"Sorry, Who's with me?"
"Everyone is with you. You just can't see them. They are so close but you're unable to notice them."
"Listen, if that's some kind of a joke you better close the phone cuz it's not funny anymore." Who the hell is that?
"It's not a joke...If you're looking for your mom's keys go visite the café you were sitting on with your lap top."
"O my God!! How did you know that and how did you even know my name?!!"
"Lucy, I know nothing but you!! you're everything to me!"
"Can I please have a name?"
"Lucy."
"I mean 'your' name, sr."
"No need...I'll call you don't worry. If you needed anything call me. I'll always be there for you"
Suddenly the call ended and I was left to worry with my thoughts in the middle of the street.
