Mom's pov

My phone rang again. This was the 5th time for Chad to call me. I didn't answer any of his calls or return them back. But, this time I chose to do answer.

"What?!"

"I heard she'll wake up today."

"Quite sending her flowers. I throw them. Quite calling me...and Olivia. Stay away from Lucy."

"Why are you doing this to us? I love her."

"What you did to her is enough, Chad. Let go. And congratulations on your music award."

"Is she gonna be ok?" He kept asking and neglecting anything else.

"Yes."

"You just keep on saying that it's gonna be ok. It's gonna be ok. It isn't! That's what you're tryna convince yourself. But everything will not be ok! It never was! I've been calling you for a year and everytime you say the same thing."

"Then stop calling! Do you think my daughter laying in bed for a year is making me feel any better. Give me a break, Chad. Go on with your life and continue being a successful singer as you are. Step further."

"How's a step away from her be anything to me but a step in the wrong direction?"

"Fine. If she woke up, I'll call you."

"Do you promise?"

I didn't answer.

"Do you promise?" He asked again.

"Yes. Yes, I promise."

"Thank you Lily."

"It's Mrs. Royal."

"Whatever."

I left my phone when Anica came to talk to me. Lucy's therapist. She had been beside me this whole year and I appreciate it.

"Lily, I warned you that if Lucy remembered everything at once that she'll fall into a coma."

"I didn't remind her, I swear."

"But she is in a coma which means that she did remember. I didn't want it to go there. Now, we can only pray that her mind won't give up and that she would wanna come back or she'll stay here forever." She sadly said.

"How can we make her want to?"

"If there was a reason for her in life that she liked. Some one she loved. Some thing she wanted to do."

"I...I think she already gave up." I cried. Anica came and tapped on my shoulder.

"Lucy isn't a quiter. She can survive this. She always survive."

Lucy's pov

I heard the sound of the machine that counted the heart beats, which made me realize that I was at a hospital. I smelled meds and injections. I was assured.

I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't.

For the first time, I didn't feel confused. Everything was right in place. My memories were back. Everything that happened during my existance was known to me. It all made sense.

The fights between Angela and I, the games we played, the times I laughed at Chad, when I threw him down the stage, when I started writting my diaries, when Olivia cheated from me in the exam, every single detail.
