Destined Path
A soul in the darkness
The cold darkness
Like a dark alley
In the cold, bleak winter
A soul in pain
Physically
And emotionally
Full of losses
Suffering
Living in the loneliness
Without hope
Of ever being
A bright soul again
Instead -
Unnoticeably blending
With the darkness
One day
Not too late
Another soul appears
Not a darkening soul
But a soul full of happiness
A warming soul
That shined
As bright as the sun
A soul with its own dark past
But a soul that recovered
From its dealings with the darkness
And transformed into
An even brighter soul
A happy soul
That unknowingly steps in the life
Of the darkening soul
That unknowingly helps
That unknowingly rescues
The darkening soul
Helping the soul
To shine again
And as time passes
The souls turns out
To be only two halves of the same soul
And only together
They can be whole
Neither one can live
Without the other
And together they choose to stay
Stronger and brighter together
Then separate
Shining brighter than the sun
Together by fate
Facing whatever life
Throws at them
Without ever looking back
Unknowingly writing their own
Destiny
