Warriors: Moonstar's Destiny

Chapter Twelve

When Moonheart opened her eyes, she was back in ThunderClan.

"Moonheart!" yowled Sunblaze. Moonheart sat up and began asking questions.

"Is Silverkit okay?" asked Monheart.

"Yeah, but it's Silverpaw now," meowed Sunblaze.

"How long was I out?" demanded Moonheart.

"Um, a moon," replied Sunblaze uncomfortably.

"WHAT?!" shrieked Moonheart. "I missed my kit's apprentice ceremonies?!" Then Clovetail walked in with herbs.

"Sunblaze, Jaystrike wants you to go on hunting patr...," Clovetail meowed, not finishing the last word. "Moonheart! Flamestar! Moonheart's alive!" Every cat came in the medicine cat's den.

"MOTHER!" yowled her kits. They threw themselves onto Moonheart weeping.

"How?" Brownfur asked.

"Well, I went to StarClan and Firestar told me he could send me back and....," Moonheart explained, telling her clan about her adventure. Everyone began asking questions, but then Clovetail interrupted.

"Excuse me, but I think Moonheart needs some rest and food," meowed Clovetail. "So all of you out!" The clan left the den and began doing their duties. Then Sunblaze appeared with a plump rabbit.

"Here," he meowed, pushing the rabbit to her.

"Thanks," meowed Moonheart.

"No problem," Sunblaze meowed and left. Moonheart ate hungrily and fell into a deep sleep.
