Warriors: Moonstar's Destiny

Chapter Twenty-Four

Moonstar was back on WindClan territory and the vicious tom that had attacked her had his back towards her.She also noticed that RiverClan and ShadowClan had showed up and were fighting back-to-back with warriors from different clans.

"Hey you!" Moonstar yowled. Turning around the tom gaped at her, shocked and confused.

"You're supposed to be dead!" he mewed.

"Well obviously I'm not," Moonstar mewed and lept onto him. His eyes widened in surprise as she visously attacked him. Stunning him, Moonstar took her opportunity to strike and the tom went still. The BloodClan cats went into a frenzy because their leader was gone. Moonstar signaled some of her warriors and they ran after the cats.

"Just chase them out!" she called after them. She gazed at the scene before her with pride. Cats of every clan were sitting next to each other. She cleared her throat and began speaking.

"I know that BloodClan's return and attack was very sudden, but remember that we are the four clans and we are ready for anything. I thank each and every one of you for helping out. I hope that your wounded will heal quickly and your dead to rest in StarClan. I know that we will soon become seperate as we were before, but let us work together today to help each other," mewed Moonstar. Murmurs of agreement rippled throughout the cats.

"May I speak? asked Rabbitstar. Moonstar nodded and he stepped forward.

"I thank you all for helping my clan. Moonstar, I thought that you were too young and inexpirenced when Flamestar chose you deputy, but you have showed me wrong. You were braver than I would of been," Rabbitstar mewed. Moonstar bowed her head shocked at the older leader's praise. The other leaders nodded, agreeing. She led her clan out of the battlefield and they plunged into the forest again.
