"Blazeclaw, Blazeclaw! Silverpool, Silverpool! Stormfur, Stormfur! Sandheart, Sandheart!" cheered the clan. Moonheart watched with pride as her clan cheered. Her kits were finally warriors! Two moons ago, Icepaw and Snowpaw were given their warrior/medicine cat names! They were now Icefur and Snowfrost. Moonheart padded over to her kits, going through the crowd of cats cats surrounding the new warriors.
"Remember, vigil at sunset," she meowed. Her kits nodded and she padded away. She grabbed a thrush from the fresh-kill pile and began munching on it hungrily. She watched as the sun set and cats began padding in their dens. The new warriors were already in the clearing, their silhouettes in front of the sun. She began feeling drowsy and she padded into the warriors' den. She curled up and darkness took over her.
