Warriors: Moonstar's Destiny

Chapter Nineteen

When Moonheart opened her eyes, she was covered by fog. Suddenly, the fog disappered and rows of cats were in front of her. Eight of them stepped forward and she gasped in shock. Oaktail, SIlverleaf, Flamestar, and Featherpool were there! The remaining four were unknown to her. A pale grey she-cat  stepped fowad and spoke.

"I am Moonmist, ThunderClan's old deputy and your mother's sister. I died attacking ShadowClan for ThunderClan.  I give you the life of pain and grief. Be careful, this will hurt, but do not pull away," she warned. Moonheart nooded and Moonmist touched noses with her. A blinding pain tore through her body and Moonheart wanted to pull away, but remembering Moonmist's words, she did not. Moonmist pulled away and the pain stopped. A brown tom stepped forwards and Moonheart waited for him to speak.

" I am Pinetree, your father's father. I died protecting your father from badgers. I give you the life of love and happiness," he meowed. Pinetree touched noses with Moonheart and instead of pain and agony, Moonheart felt bliss and happiness. A light brown she-cat padded over to Moonheart.

"I am Mapleleaf. I died from whitecough. I give you the life of calm and peacefulness," she meowed. They touched noses and Moonheart felt calm and peaceful. A ginger she-cat stepped forward.

"I am Gingerpaw. I died saving my littermate, Flamestar from a RiverClan warrior when we were under attack. I give you the life of loyalty to your clan" she meowed and touched noses with Moonheart. A flashback appeared and Moonheart saw Gingerpaw attacking a RiverClan warrior who had Flamestar- Flamepaw then- under him. Silverleaf stepped up and spoke.

"I am very proud of you. I give you the life of bravery and courage," she meowed. They runned noses and Moonheart felt like she could do anything. Featherpool stepped up.

"I give you the life of fear and vulnerability," she meowed. They touched noses and Moonheart felt scared and afraid. Flamestar walked up and spoke.

" I give you the life of respect for you friends, family, and clanmates," he meowed. They touched noses and Flamestar walked away. Oaktail stepped up.

"I give you the life of  saddness and despair," he meowed. they touched noses and Moonheart felt the despair of Oaktail when his sister died. Suddenly the cats disappered and Moonheart was in the fog once again. Then darkness surrounded her and she closed her eyes.
