As was promised, I'm updating with part 2 of this chapter. Again, it's kinda long (I think), so I hope you enjoy. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK! I want to know your thoughts and feelings before I upload again!

Reminder: I hate to be even more annoying than I am, but there is a contest on @LouisTomlinsonsButt's page under her story 'Face Off'. If you want to vote for me, go to the third part of that work and put "11. AbbyMarshall - Is It So Wrong ~ A One Direction (Niam Horayne) Fanfic" (aka the number eleven, my username, this story's title).

I LOVE YOU ALL AND I JUST WISH I COULD HUG YOU FOR READING MY STORY.

Koi, time to stop being awkward and overly ecstatic. BYE!

*Liam's POV*

I can't believe I'm actually here. I can't believe I actually listened to Greg and came to his New Year's party. He warned me that Sara would be coming, too, but he seemed to think it would be a good idea anyways. I know he just wants me to talk things out with Niall, but can I blame him? He's been begging me for the last two weeks to give Niall another chance. I just don't know if I can.

"Liam, glad you came," Greg says when he opens the door. I had just been standing outside deciding if I should actually go in and came to the conclusion that I should give it a shot. It's New Year's Eve, after all. It's supposed to be the end of this year and the start of a new one with a completely new slate. It works in theory, right?

"Just because I'm here doesn't mean everything is going to be okay."

He gives me a sad smile before beckoning me to come inside. "Come on in; it's freezing and we don't want you getting sick, do we?"

"I guess not," I say with a smirk.

"You just make yourself at home. I should let Niall know that you're here, I guess."

Greg heads up the stairs, leaving me alone in the lounge. I decide to set up the N64 since I know it's something the multiple people can do. When five minutes go by and I'm still alone, I pull out a few games to look at. /Pokemon Puzzle League? My sisters had that game, but I never really got to play it.../ I put the game cartridge into the console and turn it on.

I start playing, figuring out how to play in Professor Oak's Lab before trying to play against the computers.

"You know, if you can set up a combo, you'll do loads better," a voice tells me.

I can tell who it is without looking up, so I don't. Instead, I take the advice and attempt to set up a combo to drop blocks on my opponent. "Yes! Ha!" I get excited when I do well in games I'm new to, okay?

"Think you're ready for a real challenge?" the voice asks.

"And you think you know someone who can challenge me?" I counter.

"I grew up with this game; I think I can take you."

"Try me."

Niall walks in front of me and grabs the second controller, then sits down on the couch by the other wall. "I'll set it up," he says. "Just don't touch anything for a bit."

He takes us into the two player stadium and tells me I can set up a file on it. I do and we get to the screen where we have to pick our handicaps. "There's a 3D mode?!" I ask, surprised by the option. As first player, I have to pick between 2D and 3D before changing my handicap.

"You mean to tell me that you didn't watch Tracy's clips? He teaches you all about playing in 3D!"

I laugh. "I stopped after Professor Oak's basic instructions," I confess.
