Hey guys, I just want to apologize for being so behind in my writing. I would list of my excuses for why I haven't been able to write, but they would be boring and they're not why you're here.

Anyhoo, don't forget to tell me what you think by commenting/voting/fanning. I'll try to write more soon, but I promise nothing.

P.S. This chapter is dedicated to cloverrover2 for all of the comments that have made me laugh and whatnot. Yay!

P.P.S. Sorry this chapter is a bit shorter and seems kinda like filler. And also I don't know the name of the girl who rejected Liam so many times, so yeah. Anyways, I'll try to write more soon, but the next chapter or two will also be about development.

*Liam's POV*

(October 31, 2009)

"Happy Halloween, Nialler!" I half-shout at my good friend via Skype. We've been talking quite a bit since his birthday and I have been enjoying every bit of it.

"Happy Halloween," he responds with a smirk. "So, Li, are you going out at all this year?"

"Nah, I'm being a good lad; I'm staying home and handing out candies to the trick-or-treaters who stop by my house," I explain. I prefer being on the safe side as much as possible.

Niall yawns at me before muttering a simple, "Again? Booooring."

"You just go out to get all the free candy!" I tease.

Niall flushes slightly, but then winks at me. "Well, obviously! Who in their right mind would pass up an opportunity for free food?"

"Candy isn't food, Nialler."

"Sure it is!" Niall states. I can't help but facepalm at his ridiculousness. "Besides, my dad stays home to hand out candy at his place and my mum does the same at her place, so I never feel obligated to do it."

"I love giving candy out, honestly. And I don't feel obligated to do it; my parents usually try get me to go out and spend time with people my age on Halloween, but all of them just want to drink with their mates. That isn't exactly something I can join in on, so I don't bother."

Niall grimaces at me. "You need to start living a little, LiLi."

"I do live! I'm living right now! And did you seriously just call me 'LiLi'?" I scowl at Niall in an attempt to seem serious, but soon I'm chuckling under my breath.

"Yes I did! As a matter of fact, that is what I shall be calling you from now on and you can't do anything about it!" Niall finishes with a shout. He starts laughing maniacally and keeps it up for awhile until he realizes that I'm staring at him in confusion.

"Why are you gonna do that? And who says I can't do anything about it?!"

Niall just shakes his head at me as if it's obvious. "Firstly, I'm going to continue calling you LiLi because it's funny and I like it. And secondly, you can't do a thing about it because I'm in Ireland and you're in England!"

I smack myself on the forehead because of my idiocy. I have gotten so used to talking to Niall almost daily that I forgot that it's all via Skype and he actually lives quite a long way from me.

"Did you actually not think of that, LiLi?" Niall asks.

"I didn't. I, well, forgot that we don't live in the same town anymore. I've just gotten so used to chatting with you all the time, it feels like we live close to one another!" I explain.
