CHAPTER 24

"Fred, where is your car?", I looked around the parking lot and asked him. He gave a tilt to his neck towards left and raised his eyebrows, "look back brotha". I rolled my eyes on his dramatic answer. I turned around and saw my Beauty. I mouth fell wide open and I just wanted to run and feel my beauty. "Why is my beauty here, Fred?", I turned around to look at him. He shrugged and said, "I wanted you to give a ride to Anna in your Beauty". I smiled at him as I said," thank you, Fred". "Ya ya, I get it. Now don't get emotional. I had to make your date perfect with her", he said as he hung one arm around my shoulder. I gave him another look of gratitude and proceeded towards my Beauty; the one and only Jaguar f-type r coupe. Yeah, I call her my Beauty.

I was feeling up the breeze as I was driving my car and was enjoying the company of it after a long time. "Robert, I suppose you will tell her about yourself today?", Fred looked at me and asked. I was looking straight ahead of me at the road. "I want to and I will", I halted the car as the signal turned to red. "So you think she will understand you Rob?", he asked as he tilted his head to look at me properly. My head had the same question running all day and night since I started loving her. The signal started the countdown from five and all the engines roared to life. I looked at Fred and smiled, "I know she will. She chose me for her and I believe that she understands me better than just loving me". I pressed the clutch, changed the gear and whizzed my Beauty.

It took me half an hour to reach the amusement park. I had fun being with Fred on a ride after a long time. After that single question that Fred asked, we didn't get to that topic again. We had a quality talk and discussions over world issues, personal lives, people and what not. I halted my Beauty babe and asked Fred to join in with others while I would park the car. I sent him because I wanted some time for myself. I was hell-bent scared. I had no clue how to apprise the truth to Anna and after what Fred asked, I began feeling more nervous. So many questions were running through my mind per second. It felt like my head was about to explode with all due enormous stress I was dealing with.

I got out of the car and locked it with the car key. I started advancing towards the destination I was awaiting for. So many thoughts were jumbling and crossing through my mind. "Relax, dude. Don't worry she is gonna listen to you. She will give you a chance. She loves you, man. You need to just go there and...", I took a deep breath and hauled. All that I was saying to myself for some motivation wasn't enough to calm me down even a bit. That's when Fred came from nowhere and took me out of my thoughts. "Oh my god! dude. I heard the motivation speech you just gave yourself. I must say, you are dreadfully scared", he said as he put his arm around my shoulder and showed up a toothy grin.

"Like you don't know Fred", I practically rolled my eyes and continued, "she is a GIRL". I came to a stop and looked at Fred. I put my both palms on his shoulder and shook him. "Wake up, Freddie. She may not be on PMS but still she is a girl. Like the rest, even she has feelings and emotions. She will be offended and I am actually now cursing my witty brain about lying to her", I said as I stressed the word girl again. He popped his tongue and said, "yep I know but right now all we can do is to hope. Hope that things go well". I looked at him as I slid my arms back and smiled, "lets go".
