CHAPTER 15

I was excited to look at the man that made K's heart skip a beat. Honestly speaking, she is not convinced by any man so much so far. The way she was blabbing things about him proved that she liked him as hell. Her pretty new crush. I moved my cursor to open the attachment.

*zoom*

What the hell! The electricity suddenly went off. All of a sudden, it was pitch dark. Everyone was blabbering. Even I was confused. For a moment I forgot about Robert's pic and K. All I could think was why is strange things happening here? First of all those weird blurry cameras. Then Lily freaking out looking at Liam. Fred and Liam talking in a corner for God knows how much time and the most weirdest thing; Liam asking me questions that I don't know how to relate.

I am seriously so confused right now. I am wise enough to notice all these things. I know that these things can't be related but even if they are happening for individual reasons, why don't I understand the purpose of everyone? I swear my head is spinning. The only one question I had in my mind since a week is, where the hell Liam is? I just don't get it. Things are becoming strange for me day by day.

*ahem*

I heard someone clear his throat and everyone went silent. I came out of my thoughts and sat upright as I clicked on the flash light application in my mobile. Few of them followed by me did the same. We could at least figure out it was our boss, Fred. Everyone started looking at him. He asked a peon to carry a flashlight with him. He stood before us. I sighed. I knew that he was about to announce something, but don't know what.

*ahem*

"Everyone here please calm down and listen to what I have to say" Fred said. We all rose up and said yes sir and greeted him. "I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience. Our workers have informed us that there is some technical problem that would take few hours or even a day to mend it. So I am officially announcing a holiday for today. You all may go back to hotel and get ready for the party that is going to be held in the evening" he said. In a blink of an eye, everyone started talking as if it were their last day. Sheesh! But what party? I didn't know there was a party today. I am supposed to look after Fred's work. How can I forget such a detail then?  I don't care for what reason this party is, I am going to enjoy and have a blast.

"EXCUSE ME!" Fred roared. Wow. Even this guy can get real serious. "I may ask you to please keep silence. This party is for the grand success for our business deal with Royal enterprise. Hope you all show your co-operation and leave office in a queue one after the other. My peon will show you the way. You all may dismiss" with that Fred went somewhere towards his office.

I don't know why but I followed him. I took my mobile and flashed light to avoid bumping into things. I wanted to talk about everything. What exactly is happening? Why am I not included in such a big deal? I always write notes and record stuff for him whenever meeting is arranged. I felt so detached. It's like my performance is not good enough and he will get rid of me soon. "Sir, I need to talk to you" I said as I looked at him and added, "please". I knew he was least interested to talk to me today. His face showed disturbed emotions. He asked me to follow and we went near a window.
