KAYLONA'S POV

"Perfect." I said running into the sand. Laying there next to a sandcastle was a Lilly flower the color of lilac. I picked it up and dusted off some sand before putting it behind my ear.

"That makes you look even more beautiful." A voice said from behind me. I looked down and their shadow started getting closer. "Turn around princess." the stranger repeated. There was only one person that ever called me princess.

"Dana!" I squealed. Jumping around and tightly wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I told you I would make it." He said smiling and looking down at me.

Tonight was my first Luau (?) and I had invited Dana. I wasn't sure if he was coming or not since he did move to LA.

"And I'm glad you did." I replied. He held my hand as we kicked through the sand in search for some other treasures.

"I've missed this place."

"You're always welcome back. It's still just as beautiful." I said.

"I bet. I've also missed you Kaylona."

"I'm your best friend Dana. You have to miss me."

Dana's face changed and he leaned in and kissed me.

"Dana!" I said in shock. Not that I didnt like it, because I loved it.

"I thought you said I had to kiss you...sorry." Dana's face turned bright red. I knew he heard Miss and not Kiss. Gosh he's such a loser.

"I liked it." I said. He hugged and by the time we were at the pier, the Luau had started and me and Dana danced all night long. There were some extra surprises too.
