DANA'S POV

...And there she was. She walked right past the store, with one friend on each side of her. She didn't even glance inside but I bet if she did, then she'd see the sexy cashier....that would be me of course. She kept walking past and I couldn't let her go.

Honestly, I was already a good hour late to work and I just got here. I handed my manager my badge and said I'm going to Lunch.

"Lunch?! You just got here! Leave, and you'll never see these again." He said waving my phone and badge in the air. I ignored him as I made my way out the door towards the girl. Her hair was down and flowing gracefully. She had on a crop top and a mini skirt. I watched as she shifted her bag to one shoulder and adjusted her glasses. From the distance, I saw her name embroided on her bag... Genesis it read. I smiled.

I grabbed my Chicago Bulls SnapBack and walked out the store, but I didn't see where she went. I saw two guys sitting outside on the bench.

"Hey fellas, have you seen her? It was about five minutes ago when I saw the hottest chick, no other person has seen before."

"You mean, the one that crossed the corner?" One of them asked as the other hooted. I rolled my eyes because that was really, disrespectful.

"You know her? Can you tell her, I wanna meet her?" I asked them nervously adjusting my hat. They looked at each other then looked at me.

The one that hooted stood up. "Why don't we all go see her together, she has friends.." The guy offered. I shook my head whatever as they got up and followed me around the corner. There we saw her and her friends walking, hips swaying and all.

"On second thought, that ain't the way to go." I said suddenly nervous trying to turn back around. The guys made me face forward as we kept walking behind the three. I thought about good pick-up lines to mention, but then just realized that pick-up lines would just embarrass me.

Maybe a compliment. I thought. Should I talk me about her smile.. or what about her style?

I looked up and saw her talking to a guy

"I'm out of time." I said to the guys.

"No, you'll be fine, just watch." I saw Genesis give the guy a disgusted look as her and her friends retreated down the street. I slightly smiled to myself.

"Yoo!!" I said when he got angry and walked past us, shoving as he did. Genesis and her friends turned around and looked at us. I just waved and she giggled, turning back forward.

I saw her make her way to the basketball court so I abandoned the two guys an thought that this was the time to redeem myself.

I grabbed a basketball and it swooshed right through the hoop. I saw her smile at me and so I finally decided to walk over.

"Excuse me, I'd like to take a ride with you." I said using my signature line. She shook her head and jut started to walk away. I could tell she was smiling. Hard To Get, huh.

I returned to the court and started to throw free shots when I noticed that her friends had walked away leaving her there. Time to try again, I thought.

She ran after her friends, and I ran after her. She opened the back door to a car, that they had boarded and got in. Before she got a chance to close the door, I put my hand out, opening it and sliding in.

"Really?" She asked me.

"You went to slow." I said shrugging my shoulders, as I slid closer to her.

"All you want to do is make out." She said crossing her arms.

"Maybe, but so do you." I smiled at her. She came closer to me, grabbed my shirt collar and started teasing me, not letting her lips actually touch mine for a seconds worth of a kiss.

I put my hand on her knee, and she pulled out her phone and handed it to me, I quickly put my number in, while she teased me the whole time.

I finally leaned in and kissed her as her friends clapped from the front seat.

"I knew you were following me the whole time." she said when we pulled away.

"Oh really?" I asked.

"Call me." She said smirking as she opened the door. I got out and awkwardly waved as they pulled away.

I turned around to see the two guys there.

"You still have to hook us up."
