EMILY'S POV 

"I'm leaving!" I heard my brother Dalton say. I quickly grabbed my bag then slid down the staircase banister. Dalton was taking me to the beach to FINALLY meet his bandmates. I don't think it's fair that I'm just now going, I mean c'mon, Sophie sees them like ALL the time. But he claims that she won't get in a relationship with any of them because she's too young. Since of course, I'm only a year younger then Dalton, he thinks that I might get some interests in his buddies. 

I run out the front door and close it. I try to run at top speed to the car when PLOP! I fall face first on the porch. My summer dress was closed in the door. I heaard a fit of laughter when I looked up to see Dalton practically crying. His eyeliner hasn't even smeared.  

'It's not funny!" I yell to the car as I open the door and pull my dress out. I walk to the car and open the door. "Stop laughing and drive!" I barked to Dalton. 

He put his hands up in defense and put the car in drive mode. 

I laid back in the car as I felt the cool breeze coming in through the windows. I thought about thte boys that I would be meeting. Dalton thinks I might get interested. That means their cute. 

"Here we are." Dalton syas cheerfully. He comes over to my side and opens the door for me. I step out and take in the fresh breeze. 

"Let's go." He says. I take off my flip flops and follow him to the sand. "There they are!" He points to four boys.  

"The asian has awesome abs." i say giggling.  

"Oh yea.. that's Will.' 

I follow Dalton as he walks towards them. They stop what they're doing to look at me. One of the boys start talking immediately. "She doesn't look like you Dalton. She's way hotter."  

"Shut up Cole!" Dalton says while throwing sand. In the midst of the moment, Cole and dalton soon started a sand war. The other 3 boys came up and introduced themselves. They all seemed very nice but I think I did start an interest. It was on that cute Cole boy. 

I sit in the sand as waves splash on me. 

"If you didn't know. that's called high tide." I look up shocked. It was Cole. 

"Your a little smart." I say nudging him a bit. 

"Actually, will told me this." He smiles at me and i return the gesture. 

"When you said I was hot, were you just playing?" 

His face looked serious. "Why would I be playing?" He stares at me with his beautiful eyes and leans in. 

"No you don't!" Dalton says closing up my first kiss oppurtuinity. "It's time to go home Emily."  

I get up and shake off the sand. "That's really nice what you said Cole. I'm also really interested." I slip my number to Cole as I run to catch up with Dalton. 

"What was that?" Dalton asked sternly

"Oh nothing. Just the high tide of love." I say. I turn around, blow Cole a kiss and get into the car.
