DALTON'S POV

"Dalton put me down!" Katrina yelled through giggles. I had her on my back and I was running around the pool like a maniac.

"Why?" I whined. I pretended to put her down, but then didnt.

"Dalton." She frowned. "I don't want to fall in" she said.

"Then I'll just throw you in." I jumped into the water with her on my back. When we resurfaced she splashed me.

"That was not funny" she complained.

"It actually was." I laughed. I was soaked in my clothes, but I swam around anyway, enjoying the stars and everything.

"Best friends don't do that." She said. I frowned. I hated that I was friend zoned. I dreaded it.

"Boyfriend's do." I whispered. She must've heard me because she swam over to me.

"What?" She asked. I pushed some of her wet hair behind her ear and saw as it was causing some waves in her hair.

I couldn't contain myself and quickly pecked her lips.

"Dalton?" She asked when I pulled away.

"I can't do this 'best friend' thing. I like you too much." I admitted. She looked at me with passion in her eyes.

"Well if this is your way of asking me out, I wanna say yes. Dalton I really like you too. I just didnt think you had feelings for me."

"Katrina. I love you."
