Note: This is for @sillychica who has this very story going on! Check her stuff out loves!
Brier only beamed, her violet lips matching her lavender long hair that flowed as fine silk in the summer breeze in looking over the lilac-list and looking at the shutdown bar. Her eyes had collected on a leaf green with parallels of blue near the outer edge of her eyes. Some might have called her "stocky" in her pack (least till after she kicked their tails) in being full of a curve and all kick ass in her book. She had curves, which she loved to show off in tight-fitting jeans and dresses with a flare at the bottom.
Hours of kickboxing and a wide spectrum of martial arts had left her lean in muscle to move under her lightly kissed tan silken skin. Over one male had tried to bed her in the last few years in her being Alpha McClung only daughter.
Just no male could hope to vanquish this Luna! Grinning, Blair pictured in her mind what this front might look like once it was fixed up...
"This is an unacceptable idea, Blier! A bar? Also, this town? It's so small and small towns have a troublesome time in letting outsiders! We'll stand out like a sore paw!" Rachal's low deeper voice, spiced with the slight New Yorker broke her Luna's daydream. "We should pick a different place."
Rolling her eyes, they had this back and forth for two days on the drive to scout Bicker out. Blair had fallen in love with the timbers around the town close enough to mate with them if she could. Pushing back her hair and a left hand her womanly hips, the Luna locked eyes with her Beta with a joker smile on her plumb purple lips.
"Rach, it will work out! We talked and compared notes and numbers, we are the solo wolf pack in this place for like, what 200 miles? This is perfect!" Blair's smile and energy broke in her voice, eyes full of achievement of things to come.
"No"
Tightening her lips, Blair looked at her Beta right in the eye as her leather cowboy boot tapped on the sidewalk in feeling the wolf of soul rise making her eyes glisten for a heartbeat. "Well, you could have stayed with my father's pack Rach, not choosing to come with me. If you don't like what I'm doing, you have a right to say so, but given the tone. You can get the fuck out."
Rachal blinked, feeling a quiver of her Luna's power tingle her skin, a warning of her increasing fury. Lowering her gaze a little, it showed her appreciation to her leader of their small pack. "I'm sorry Blier, it's just my concerns showing...."
Walking over, she moved up to tenderly caress her left shoulder under her jean jacket. Rubbing it gently with a sweeter smile, "I'm sorry, you think of the smaller things I miss to keep the pack safe. It's why I'm glad you're here Rach. I don't think I could do this without you at all."
Beaming, then she felt the true emotions of her Luna, her words, and feelings matching on broader levels their kind could share beyond those elementary things. "I expect you're sorry Blier, long as you pay half on the pizzas we told the others we would get."
Blinking, Blair did a deep throat laugh in her chest and grabbed Rachal in a perfect-on tight hug and her Beta relaxing in the arms of her friend and leader. "I know you worry, but this will work! We have a chance to make a new pack with the 7 of us! This will be the first new pack in over 70 years! I know a lot is riding on me and us all! But we can and will do this!"
Rachal only expressed her a psychic image of understanding and hope, images, and scents and other things only wolves knew to take in the mind. Smiling, Blair kissed her cheek and released her Beta in looking back at the bar. Yes, it was a slight run down, needs some love but it would be a good starting point for her pack to be.
"I'll need to look around to hire some help to get this going! I know Max and his mate Sunny have worked a lot in areas of building and carpeting, but I need them also to work in our den! Think I saw an ad in the local paper for a handyman!" She thought, smiling and feeling this place would become a home very soon for her small pack.
Not only was she going to get the bar, the Evergreen pack as was their name on their last vote. Had also found an old Victorian-era home that had been in late 1970 had been broken down into 4 apartments. Which was what she had been looking for in a close home for her small pack.
Like the bar, it was a little run and needed some love as anything worth in life. Rachal could only see how Blair's eyes lit up, making the plans in her mind of the future. Blair was pretty young to be Luna, settling at age 26. Most Alpha and Luna's tend to wait until their 30's before leaving their home pack.
Just the Crimson pack had grown a lot over the last ten years, and it made sense for some wolves to make a new sub pack. More fights had taken place and it had been slowly making things hard not only for Blier's father but her older brother Mark who was to become Alpha after him. The odd thing was to have two siblings more as Alpha in one pack, which was a sign from the Moon Lady it was time for a new pack.
"The Rose Moon Inn, that's what we'll call it..."
