Everything was right, her body pressed close to his firm form. The sunlight was still hidden by the trees in the dawn of summer. Conner's deep breathing, the feeling of his chest pressed to her upper back was a comfort she had never had with other lovers over the last few years of being an adult.
Brier's body drank in his warmth, her wolf happy and satiated after the events of the night of their joining for many an hour. He had provided to be a sensual lover, slow and ready to make her cry out for more, slow to bring to her to the peek over and over of pleasure only to keep her reined in till the right moment happened.
Now he was sleeping deeply, trusting her so openly. Brier had felt and heard her pack waking up. Sunny knows to hum as he walked by the locked guest room, knowing more than he would say. Max going out the door for his normal run and portal he did with Abel in his wolf form not far off in case something happened. Judy was had woken up to get the food ready as bacon filled the air and the clang of pots moved. Even Nash's scent had traced to her, his voice on the phone, low and calm and Rachel asking some questions between in her following the warlock around and keeps an eye on the man in the packed house.
Then he stirred, his breath shifted as his long legs stretched in a tangle of hers and the sheets. Conner's mind was in a daze in his nose wiggling to find the sweet scent of the Luna, burying it in the back of her neck and purple-hued hair. Honey and forest filled his nose, his inner wolf growling in the pleasure of her female scent and their late-night lovemaking.
Brier giggled a little, tinkled by his nose as he growled a little, muttering. "What time is it?"
Rolling her eyes, she reached for her cell phone to look at the time, "9:40 a bit. Everyone else woke up a few hours before us. Just be glad no one came knocking huh?"
Pulling away, to her dismay, he pushed back his messy black lockets to blink in the light. His body felt heavy, just in the good way he was not using or waking up to a beauty of a woman who seemed to giggle. His soft growl was deep in his chest, stretching out as his knees cracked a little to make him blush a little for Brier to witness.
Just while the two lovebirds lay in their room, Nolan hung up his cell his strain mouth press thinner after making the calls he had to the other supernatural of Bicker. This was the fifth one, and the Beta of the pack knew the last two had been good given the edge to his tone and his onyx eyes glowing a little in keeping calm.
"How bad?"
Her lament tone made the man pause, leaning on the door frame just outside the kitchen. "So the 3 solo witches are a yes, the fey twins are a yes but Bran the bear shifter is a no and so is Brae, who is a demon of sorts. That leaves me with two more calls to make, our local vampire Denies who runs the garage shop and Sky, a druid."
Rachel felt her brows knit together, "A vampire runs a garage?"
Nolan had to laugh a bit, knowing some of their world might not believe it. "I guess he use to be big deal some time ago, but Bran got worn out from the vamp drama "retired" in so many words to live a simple type of life. If we can get him to help, it would be a good thing and less stress on everything with the hunters coming in."
Rachel crossed her arms, having thrown on a Black Sabbath Tank top and a pair of black leggings that showed her muscled form, lean and feminine. Nolan had tried not to glance at her shapely ass more than once, trying to keep his mind on the task at hand.
"How long on the lover birds you think?" She asked, glancing down the hallway, an honest query on her face, even a playful smirk trying not to show on her full lips.
Rolling his onyx eyes, "A few hours, I mean what the normal when wolves play tango in the sheets?"
Barking out a short laugh, only Nash seemed to make things like this funny. "Depends."
"Depends huh, how long do you think we might last?" Nolan wiggled his eyebrows, his eyes locked on the Beta female as she blinked, off center from his surprise question!
"Um....."
Moving closer, he leaned a bit forward, his blond hair falling over his shoulder. Speaking low huskily, "I can work with "um" for a good long time."
Pink graced her cheeks, this man smoky scent filled her nose for the moment, and his tone made a shiver up her spine as her wolf seemed pleased by his absence. "Nolan, I don't think this is...."
He leaned forward, his lips touching hers' briefly just to taste her sweetness in a stolen kiss. Having wanted to know how this fiery woman might act if he had, feeling the warmth of her flesh to his made his body yearn for more, pulling away with a coy smile before Rachel might hit him or press in for more of his taste. "Let's talk later about more of this um time frame after food Rach."
Walking away, she let her body fully lean on the wall, dazed and confused by the sudden change in the warlock of all things. He had taken away her breathe on his actions to protect her, lost in his fury and breathtaking in his rage. Now he had kissed her, a brief taste of lips, and a sweetness of soft and tasting of a dark red wine. Her wolf howled a little, wanting more of this male who changed her openly.
"Oh lady moon, what have you put into my path now..."
