That one day that I slept forever afterwards and I said that something embarrassing happened to me??

There's this thing that happens sometimes with narcolepsy where you're muscles can kinda freeze up and you can't move them. It's called Cataplexy apparently

It's only happened a few times to me. Not extreme or anything.

We were at a movie and I just couldn't move my hand.... it was stupid but I freaked out. Like it's just a hand!

That's scary and reacting to it isn't embarrassing at all

Well I was embarrassed

And it's happened maybe once since then but that time is was like my entire left leg and it freaked me out and I sorta had another one

So becky told my dad....

And you went to the doctor??

Yeah

They did this thing where they monitored my sleep

It's narcolepsy for sure but they don't think it's too bad. A mild case.

You're still you. You've had narcolepsy probably since before I met you. The only different is that now it has a label.
