The teasing I mean. The "Camren is better than Normally" teasing. And I knew that it was hurting Mani's feelings but I kept doing it bc I think I subconsciously wanted to tell Normani something.....

Laur:
Okay....

So you hurt Mani's feelings by taking the jokes too far to tell her something?

Allycat:
I distanced myself too

I mean at the time I didn't really know that I was doing it but then Normani sort of confronted me about it and I realized what I had been doing

Laur:
Okay so it was unintentional but also.... intentional?

Allycat:
Uh, yeah

Laur:
Okay I think I'm following

So what were you intentionally/unintentionally trying to tell her?

Allycat:
That I love her

Laur:
And I'm confused again

Allycat:
I love her, I do. So much.

She was my first real love and I think that she always will be.

Laur:

Why do I feel like this is about to go downhill?

Allycat:

You see, Mani and I work so well together.

We have sex because we know how to please each other. We know the curves of each other's bodies and we know what to do to push each other over the edge. We're good at pleasing each other.

We kiss almost instinctively; our lips know each other. We hold hands because it's familiar; the way her hand fits against mine. We hang out like best friends and we never get bored. We take each other out because we like to make each other happy.

Laur:

Okay....?

Allycat:

But there's not a spark anymore.

It's like two best friends who occasionally have sex and kiss.....

And you told her that?

Well not exactly

She asked me if I still loved her and I sort of paused for a while because she had taken me by surprise, you know? And then when I answered the words sort of fell from my lips.

And the look on her face just....

She was angry, so angry.... and hurt and she said a lot of things that I know she didn't mean, but they hurt too

She's my best friend and I love her. I don't want to hurt her. But I just don't know if that romantic spark is still there. Do you know what I mean?
