Alone Without You
Could it become a lie?
If I deny the fact, I like her?
Or perhaps, I was only pretending?
For me to avoid, the inevitable feeling of solitude
Cause maybe she will reject...
What if she also wants it?
Should I let myself be falling in?
Would I resist the regret?
Why can't it be -
Just a simple state of happiness
I cannot bear the pain from silence.
Tears couldn't fall
As I reminiscence the day,
That I saw your pretty face
Looking to someone, but not mine
How I wish that moment could repeat
Then I will be the lucky one!
But here I am, alone without you
Still believing on an impossible dream
Like a candle in the deepest of the night
Trying to keep the warm light until sunrise
Living on a prayer and holding on to faith
Someday it will be just the two of us
Only you and me until fade.
