"And hyung." It was Taehyung. His best friend looked sad and scared at the same time as he whispered, "Please be careful. One wrong move will kill Jungkook."

Jimin and Jungkook's eyes met, and even though Jimin was not sure how it happened, they both seemed to agree to ask the questions later and focus on what's going on right now first. Taehyung himself seemed to be avoiding their gazes, which meant that whatever it was, the boy was not ready to tell them yet. They would just have to trust that Taehyung was saying the truth this time.

Hoseok, though, seemed to think the complete opposite.

"How the heck can this kill Jungkook?"

Taehyung bit his lower lip, his hand still tightly clutching a pawn that looked like he was about to run out of breath and literally die seconds from now if Taehyung would not let go. "Just please do it, hyung..."

"I won't if I don't know what this is all about. How would I even disassemble this if I have no idea what this is exactly for, right? A control? For what?" Hoseok fired his questions, no longer caring about the fight that's going on around him. He knew well that the others wouldn't let any pawn get near him.

Taehyung stared at him more, then finally released a tired sigh. With a glare, he grabbed a pawn's collar—who was not even going after him—and kicked him hard in the stomach, hard enough for the pawn to cough out blood and remain crouched on the floor.

"It's a control to a bomb that's inside Kook," Taehyung started explaining, in which Jimin gasped and didn't notice that a pawn was advancing towards him. Yoongi took care of that already. "It's a microbomb that was implanted in his nerves. It would not literally explode, but would stop every single organ of Kookie's body from functioning, including his brain and heart. Trying to get it from his system would trigger the bomb, and the only way to keep it from exploding is to destroy the only thing that could possibly activate it."

"Which is this..." Hoseok finished for him, staring blankly at the small object in his hand that now looked terrifying more than anything.

Jimin felt himself take a step backward, wanting to be as far away as possible at that dangerous thing that held the very life of his best friend. He turned his head with wide eyes at Jungkook's direction, only to see the younger boy clutching his left shoulder with a deep frown set in his eyebrows.

It took Jimin a whole three seconds to realize why.

Jungkook's stitch that mysteriously appeared after he got kidnapped a long time ago.

Oh.

What the heck.

"Jimin!" he heard his hyung shouting. Being trapped in his train of thoughts, Jimin failed to notice that a sharp dagger was hurtling towards him. Not a second later he was being pulled by a pale hand. The sound of a gunshot was heard, hitting the knife squarely causing it to fall uselessly on the floor instead.

The pained shout rang throughout the warehouse, but it was barely heard as everywhere around him there were shouts and sounds of different weapons being used.

"Shit, Chim, don't give me a heart attack!" Yoongi exclaimed as he simultaneously shot two more pawns. "Stay behind me."

Jimin nodded meekly, but mentally prepared himself to help Yoongi in fighting, his eyes now narrowing at one of the pawns at his right side who seemed to be planning to surprise Yoongi from behind.

Jimin had a lot of questions in his mind, and he'd surely not let Taehyung live without answering those. For now though, he had to concentrate and make himself as useful as possible. He couldn't let his hyung worry over him just because he couldn't protect himself.
