A/N: it's kinda short but I thought I would give this idea A SHOT. (cuz one-shot ya know XD)

"That's all you're going to eat?" I asked, gesturing to his bowl of salad.

He nodded and before he could dig in, I reached out for his hand that held the fork. I looked at him with a concerned look but he refused to look at me.

"I know you want to be your best for Carats but if it means eating ONLY 1 small pathetic bowl of vegetables, that's not the way," I said to him.

His expression changed and he stared at the bowl. I took out 2 opaque containers from my bag. I placed one in front of each of us. He looked at me, confused. I opened the lid of his container and mine to reveal more salad but with more variety.

He bursted out laughing and questioned why I went through the trouble of doing so.

"Look. I'm your best friend. If you're going to suffer, so am I," I smiled.

He chuckled and I think tears started to well up in his eyes.

"Ah, I love you so much! Thank you," he said nonchalantly.

"No problem! Isn't that what friends are for?" I said to him.

He shook his head and chuckled as he started to dig into the salad. He looked much happier eating the dreaded salad. It made me feel relieved. If he wanted to do something, I wanted to make sure he was happy doing it.

"Aish... You are such an amazing person. I wonder how my life would be like without you..." he mentioned.

"Boring. I know," I said, eating a mouthful of salad.

My tastebuds were not having the time of their lives but since it was for my best friend, I did not mind. He had to taste the same bitterness too. Seungkwan paused and looked over at my container. He eyed it then looked at me suspiciously.

"You CHEATER!" he exclaimed, pointing at my salad.

It was pretty obvious that I had a smaller serving of salad and some bits of chicken in there. Yes, I cheated. I giggled when he realised and apologised. He made me trade my chicken for some of his lettuce and cherry tomatoes.

"Hey, I'm not the one who seriously has to diet!" I argued

"But you said you were going to suffer with me!" he argued back.

"Did I promise?" I asked, lifting an eyebrow.

He kept silent. I was right. HAH!

"No but I can always tell your mom about the time you snuck out to do drugs," he threatened me.

"But I don't do drugs," I said, confused.

"Exactly."

He slowly reached for his phone and I glared at him. I eventually gave in and exchanged a bunch of my chicken for a portion of his salad. After that, I made him exercise by chasing him around with an empty container in hand.
