I was basically wandering the world of Youtube one Sunday afternoon. My roomate and also close friend, Junhui, was home. I assumed he was minding his own business too. He was seated on the sofa, watching videos on his phone while I sat in an armchair nearby.

I eventually stumbled upon a video titled "7 signs he's crushing on you". Of course, my crushing heart told me to click on it. It was not a very good idea considering my crush was sitting a metre away from me. It was also a blessing that I was unaware at that time too.

"Number 1. His pupils dilate when he sees you."

Has he? I looked over.
"Jun?" I randomly called him and he looked at me.
His stare was making my heart race but besides that, I could not really tell if his pupils did dilate.
"Uh, nevermind. I forgot what I wanted to ask," I lied.
He nodded and went back to watching his show. I resumed the video.

"Number 2. He leans towards you."

At that moment, he tilted his body and was indeed leaning towards me although he could sit upright or lean the other way.

"Number 3. His feet and body point towards you."
I pondered for a bit. I looked up to see he had changed his seat. From where he sat, his body was obviously facing me. His feet were pointed towards me too. Ok...
"

Number 4. Touching. He grazes your arm or finds ways to touch you even the slightest bit."

"Hey!" I yelped when I was hit on the elbow that stuck out the armrest.
"Oh, sorry," he apologised, retracting his arm back.
Was he eavesdropping? And making fun of me? Well. Only one way to find out.

"Number 5. He raises his eyebrows when he catches sight of you."

I glanced at Jun. He looked up and I saw his eyebrows raise for a second there. He quickly looked away.

"Number 6. He maintains a good posture- sitting or standing upright."

He adjusted his seating postion and was now sitting upright.

"Lastly, Number 7. He touches his face or hair around you."

Ok. At that moment, he put his phone down but still watching the video. He started caressing his face with one hand and running his hand through his hair with the other. It was a weird sight.
As the video was at its conclusion, he started mixing in all the signs. He sat up straight, his body and feet pointed at me. He leaned forward towards me. He kept touching his face and hair.

"Jun?"

He looked up and raised his eyebrows. Instead of touching his face, he used his hand to widen his eyes. I think he was trying to largen his pupils. Yeah... He definitely overheard my video. I was flustered. I placed my laptop on the coffee table.

"You're teasing me, aren't you?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"It's 7 signs he's crushing on you, right? Wait, I forgot something," he said.

He scooted towards me and grazed his arm against mine. He smiled widely.

"What the heck?"

"Is that not enough to tell you?" he asked me.

"Tell me what?" I asked him to clarify.

"That I'm crushing on you."

My cheeks felt hot and I could not believe what I was hearing.

"Are you for real?" I checked, not wanting to be fooled.

He sat up more confidently and looked at me more seriously.

"Yes. I'm telling you that I like you."

"Do you like me too? Because if not, this would be pretty awkward."
