BTS Taehyung FF - My Rude Neighbour

(Chapter 20) - One step at a time

I took my new perspective about Taehyung and wanted to actually get to know him. It was always difficult for me to get to this stage because he was always so distant, but maybe I can be his friend and help him. 

As J-hope and I walk over to their table, I spot Ally. 

"Hey, I'll be there soon." I notify J-hope.

"Sure, I'll save you a spot." J-hope answers back, with a wave. 

I walk over to Ally and she seems occupied by her phone. I let out a little giggle. 

She looks up and smiles when she sees me. 

"So what were you doing on your phone that even you couldn't see me?" I ask with a cheeky smile. 

"Well, I kinda am looking for a song to perform for the talent show. It's a crazy idea but - " Ally hesitantly adds. 

"Are you kidding. It's a great idea. If you want to, I'll support you." I interject encouraging her idea. 

"But I can only play an instrument, I'll just be a musician on stage." Ally responds undoubtedly. 

"I really want to hear you play that instrument, it would be so cool." I asserts to Ally. 

"I-I, it's an absurd. Wait. I have an idea. You up for it?" Ally requests with a cheek smile. 

"What are you insinuating?" I answer with a cautious tone. 

"If you want to encourage me, you should join me." She says with a impudent grin. "I heard you can sing, why not give it a try?" 

I immediately get flustered and turn away in shock. For a few seconds, I look that way, and then I turn back. 

"How did you know?" I say with a look of awe. 

"I overheard it while you were doing your introduction with your group, by the way I wish you the best of luck with." She smirks. 

"You seriously are the most stealthy and cunniing best friends I've ever had. Seriously, you are just...wow." I say astonished. 

She laughs quietly and then begins to pick up her stuff. 

"Hey, where are you going again?" I question with disappointment.

"I told you, I need to pick a song. Because you're doing it with me." She frankly says with a smile.

"But. Fine." I sigh in stubbornness. "But only cos I can hear you play."

"Oh that's good. You better head over to that table, they look like they are about to call you over." Ally says gesturing towards         J-hope's table.

I sigh and wave her good bye, and begin to walk towards the table. 

"Hi everyone." I greet them shyly. 

"Hey, Lily." Jimin smiles happily. 

I was walking in the direction of J-hope, expecting to sit next to Jimin and J-hope, but J-hope scoots closer to Jimin and winks at me. 

I mouth "Why did you do that?".

J-hope mouths "Go sit next to Taehyung."

I reply back "Why?"

He answers with "Just do it already."

I give him a stern look and agree stubbornly.

*J-hope, what are you up to?*

I start to drive myself to Taehyung's direction, and slowly breathe in and out. 

"Um, can I sit here?" I ask with a soft tone.
