Chapter 43 - The Unexpected Team Up

What felt like hours of crying...probably was hours of crying. I heard numerous knocks on the door as I sobbed. 

"Stay there, I'll get the door." Jimin opens the door slightly. 

"Lily? Are you all right?" I hear Ally ask concerned. 

"She's obviously been crying...I can hear her. Do you want a hug from me?" Jin requests. 

"She could need some time out. It's all up to you, Lily." Suga reasons with Jin "We'll be here to support you." 

"T-Thanks." I muffle out words of gratitude.

"I'm going in!" Taehyung barges into the room despite Jimin's guard on the door "Lily! What's wrong?"

He hugs me tight and I return it with my head in his chest. 

"Are you alright?" I nod my head as I feel relief wash over me. 

"We'll give you some space. Let's go Jimin." I hear Jungkook say "We love you, Lily."

I chuckle and look at Jungkook. 

"Thanks Jungkook." He nods as he grabs Jimin by the arm. 

"Thank you Jimin." I separate myself from Taehyung and hug Jimin "Thank you for noticing."

"You're welcome." He mumbles into my neck. 

I feel an arm tug me and I knew it was Taehyung.

"He still likes you, you know that. I've seen the way he looks at you." I see worry in his eyes and grab his hand. 

"But I chose you. Why do you have to look to scared?" He sits on the bed and I join him.

"Because...he still makes me uneasy. He's someone I trust yet I don't." I laugh and lean on his shoulder. 

"Well...am I not good enough proof for you?" He chuckles and turns me head to face him. 

"You are." He kisses my lips slowly but sweetly "You definitely are. Will you be okay now...they're kind of worried." 

I nod my head as he leads me outside the room. 

"Stop there's a tear on your face." As I wipe it away he stops me "Let me."

He kisses both my eyes and I feel my emotions well up as I smile brightly. 

"There's the smile I love to see. All this love I gave sucked out the last tears. If you need to shoulder to cry on...call me." I nod and we leave the room. 

I explained to them what Daegu meant to me...Ally showered me with apologies, Suga nodded constantly, Jungkook came me a hug which was quite rare and Taehyung looked away in guilt. 

He told me that we were best friends in kindergarten and only a few years later did my father pass away, which I found that we both were fatherless. 

My friends knew my past...and despite my first regret to tell them...I'm glad I did. Maybe these group of friends...I could trust. It felt like I had a second family.

The next day, I was "forced" to go to the beach with them, when I mean "forced" I mean blackmailed. They threatened to take away my books of which was not acceptable!

My books were my life.

My mum actually sneaked in a bikini without me noticing, and without it I would have been pressured to try one of Ally's. So thanks mum.

I wasn't insecure about my body, I just didn't want to flatter myself. I worse conservative and respective unlike Tiffany. 

"Lily! Are you done yet? We are all ready!" She screams from the bathroom door.
