Chapter 29 - The Bait on a Fish Line

Taehyung's POV:

Everyone leaves the security room and I walk with Ally through the hallway.

"So, what should I do to get into trouble?"I ask open for suggestions.

"Maybe pick a fight with someone, isn't that what you always do?" She suggests with a smirk. 

Taken aback by her statement, I try to defend myself.

"Just so you know, I only pick fights with people that deserve them."I state with upright shoulders. 

She places her hand on her hips and retorts back. 

"So Lily deserved it?" She insinuates. 

"N-No. I was a jerk back then all but that one. Haha, please don't mention that, it hurts my pride." I clarify but Ally is still not convinced. 

"Because you got bet by A GIRL?" She states with a confident smile. 

"I said stop rubbing it in. And for your information that hurt." He insensitively expresses.

"Taehyung, I've been here since longer than you, and I know for a fact, that you have had more fights than the amount of your brothers." She looks at me with a distasteful look. 

"That's true. But they were - " I was cut off by Ally. 

"All because they deserved it. Yeah, yeah." She repeats again, not resolving the issue at hand. "Oh how's this? You fight because they had it coming for them, so why not give it to the douche that started this issue at hand." She suggests with a thinking expression. 

I look at her blankly, unaware of her idea. She scoffs at me looks at me dead in the eye. 

"Fight Brett, get in trouble. He's a stick compared to you, you have shoulders as wide a fence, arms that are packed with muscles and reflexes from all that fighting. Get it now?"She advises me and I look enthused by the idea. 

"I'm in. When?" I ask and earn myself another sigh. 

"Taehyung, your the commander of this operation, I may be the ideas person, but you do have a brain as well, don't you?" She reaffirms me condescendingly. 

"O-Of course I do!" I express in an oblivious tone. 

She laughs and we continue to walk through the halls of students. 

"Taehyung, do it soon. The quicker we get the information, the less time we waste to get Lily. Also, don't beat him up too much, he is a person too." Ally offers my this advice and I nod ignorantly. 

*He is getting no sympathy from me.* 

I walk to the first class and the day is as boring as it gets. I mean what are you expecting, I am a guy that despises school work. But hey, if I want a job, I have to pass high school sadly. 

I walk to my locker grab my things and close the locker with a loud slam. My first steps toward homeroom are stopped by the one and only, Brett. 

"Where you off to Taehyung? Isn't Lily your priority? Isn't she in trouble?" He mocks with his snarky smile. 

I walk up to him and grab him by the collar. 

"You out of all people never ask me that, when you and I know how she got in this mess. I have to go." I walk away holding my frustration. 

"So I can have her?" His eyes brighten up like he's won the lottery "She's isn't someone that you like, right?" He smirks proudly. 

I resist the anger, but can't seem to restrain myself.
